Just wanted you to know that I signed up for this writing competition that's available to anyone; it's a great way to improve your writing when you need to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days! Today's the day to sign up and get started. It's called National Novel Writing Month. --oOo-- 10.07.11. Flames of Sapphire: Pending. Not done it yet boys and girls. As you can see the fandom I turn to is Naruto, although I enjoy some Sess/Kag pairings every now and then. I have a tendency to start a lot of things without finishing them, due to numerous reasons. I am always trying to improve my skills. Some people think a good story is about the amount of reviews you receive, but I disagree; feedback is good, but it should be the story that's popular, not the amount of ratings it receives. Sure, it gives it credit, but if the story itself is phenomenal I think we should look past it. --oOo-- Hm. What to say about myself? Well, like many fanfiction authors here, I am an aspiring writer myself who has written three novels, none of which have to do with anime. I am actively seeking a literary agent to represent my work. I love to eat chocolate. My favourite sport is the Korean martial art Taekwondo, which I am a blackbelt in, and I enjoy jiujutsu and karate, but I am by no means a tank or a ninja. I am a medical technician in the Canadian Armed Forces. I never used to write; I was always a drawer. Up until four years ago I would draw everything imaginable. But then I learned that I really like the way I could make a sentence come to life, and thus my passion for literature and writing blossomed. I'm always trying to improve my writing, so feedback on my fics is always appreciated, as well as constructive critiscim. I'm graduating this year. Next year I am attending a paramedic college in the fall. I plan on becoming a licensed paramedic in my province, as well as a qualified medic within the army.
