Eighteen Candles: Wes is meant to resemble Chad Michael Murray from his Gilmore Girls days. Dare You to Move
Aftershock: Matt is meant to resemble Toby Hemingway (Reid) from The Covenant. "Melissa" is the name I gave "Penelope" before I knew her real name. Error: In the chapter following the PVD party, I indicated that Hazel said "you pregnant little hypocrite". It wasn't the blonde, it was the brunette. It was an error. Sorry!

08/07/09: Just published a simple little oneshot called 'Summer of '98' featuring Serena and Blair and them meeting a woman while on vacation. This was mostly inspired by a real outing. Last Friday I went to lunch with my neice down the Inner Harbor and my neice and I had the same exchange, and then I had this little discussion with the blonde while on the water taxi (I changed the dialogue of course), but the girl was so adorable and reminded me so much of Serena! I just couldn't resist writing this once the idea came to mind. This is just me being slightly whimsical. Don't worry, more Aftershock coming soon! :) And a special thank you goes out to Jackie for your feedback! Thanks so much! Oh, and New Poll! Who is your favorite mean girl? (Other than Blair, Jenny, or Serena of course... just the recurring guests.) For the last poll, it seems like a lot of you were inspired to eat different foods because of characters on the show, but the item with the most votes was 'Chocolate Covered Strawberries"! 07/28/09: Well, it only took about eight months but I've updated! The new chapter of Aftershock introduces a lot of new plots and I'm very happy with the result and can't wait to explore each of those story lines again! Remember that the story takes place after 1x13 and though I may use some plots from the show, most of it will be mine ;) Yes, my laptop is mostly fixed now--the letter 'h' is missing, but I've figured out ways to get around that, lol. 07/08/09: No updates today, but hopefully very soon. My laptop has been... incapacitated for a little while :cough:ninemonths:cough: but a friend of mine is having a friend of his fix it up for me, so I'm anxiously anticipating its return... Any way... I just got a note from someone that made me re-read my profile page and become absolutely disgusted with how ancient the information is. So, I cleaned out some cobwebs and hopefully once my laptop is returned in working order I can dive back into my writing again. I'm starting to remember how much I used to love writing (and vidding! muwhahaha!). So, keep your fingers crossed for me! XOXO Sharon!

11/04/08: COMING FULL CIRCLE: Chapter 2 is up! Yes, I have decided to continue this. I had some fun with it, doing a cute little NB scene. I'm really pleased with the way it turned out, and I'm loving that Chuck's still in manipulation mode. Hope you guys enjoy it too! :) Take Care! XOXO Sharon

11/01/08: LOST Chapter 8, the final chapter, is now up! Woo, so glad that's done. It was a long crazy journey, and definitely a very intense one. I hope the final chapter lives up to the rest of the story. I wanted to mention that I had a couple people send reviews, asking me to get CB together in this fic before I ended it... but the thing is, this story isn't about a romance. In fact, there's nothing romantic about it at all. I wanted to emphasis the friendship that exists between CB more than the romance. They were friends first, and they needed to get back to that. You will see that Chuck still very much has feelings for her, and that Blair does care about him, but that's as far as this story goes. It wasn't meant to have a happy ending. It wouldn't have been realistic to get them together in this. That wasn't the point of the story. I hope that what I've written is satisfactory, and you're not too disappointed that they weren't saying "I love you's" and kissing by the end. You can see how that just wouldn't fit, yes? Anyway, thanks for sticking through from beginning to end. I would have never gotten past Chapter 2 without all of your encouragement to continue this. :hugs: You guys are awesome. 11/01/08: Yes, I am back. I've been struggling to get through the last chapter of Lost, and yes, it is now basically finished. I'm waiting to get it back. It should be out later today actually. In the meantime, BETTER IN TIME's part two is up. It's honestly been completed for a while, but I wanted to wait until I was really ready to start diving in and writing again before I posted it. I might have lost my "Nate" voice a little in this part, but I've been reassured by my Tati that its just fine. :D

Speaking of, Tatiana is absolutely amazing, and I think the world should know it. She's smart and sassy and beautiful and always there to help out a fellow fanfiction writer. She's put up with a lot from me and helps me make decisions in fic and points out any inconsistancies or something that just reads wrong. She's amazing and I love my T!!

I disposed of all my other author notes because... well, I was getting sick of looking at them. LOL. Anyway, feels good to be back, and now it's time to get started on my other work in progresses! See if I can't finish something else (2 in one day! YAY!). :wave: Talk to you all soon! XOXO Sharon
