Author has written 11 stories for Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, Bleach, Half-Life, Generator Gawl, and Old Kingdom Trilogy. And since I realised likes and dislikes are expected in these things, here's a bit of a list. Anime: FLCL, Generator Gawl, and Evangelion are my favorites. FMA, Bleach and various others are also cool. Naruto has the potential to be much more awesome than it is. Dragonball is hilariously crap, but it's old-school and endearingly cute in places. Other media: Donnie Darko is like the best film ever. If you have heard of Robyn Hitchcock and approve, you are my friend. Doctor Who is awesome (though I preferred Christopher Eccleston to Tennant). And literary favourites: Mervyn Peake's Gormenghast trilogy are wonderful brilliant and amazing in all ways. Garth Nix's fantasy books are also great. Angela Carter rocks my socks. John Donne is a genius. Tennessee Williams is also very cool. Dislike: There is too much poorly written romance prattle in fan-fiction. About Indifference and Judging Difference: The aim of Indifference was to take a bit of a more thoughtful look at one of the most generic plot points in anime (and fantasy as a whole) - a character is ostracised because of some kind of plot device that gives him super-human skillz and allows for brooding and melancholy flash-backs. I'm a sucker for stuff like that when it's well-done (see: Generator Gawl), but Naruto (and said character) pretty much ignores the Kyuubi except as a handy deus ex machina and a reason for the Akatsuki to chase him and people to have to train him. And one thing that struck me was that the whole tragedy element of the thing would be a lot more interesting if the jinchuuriki character had to deal with his own family's innate prejudice against the Kyuubi and its carrier, rather than the disgust of faceless citizens. Interest is the sequel to Indifference. Chapter status: 23 posted. Work has been started on chapter 24. Now why are you reposting Indifference under a different name, Nin? Well, let me explain myself: Indifference is the one and only long piece of writing I've finished. It's also the first I've started, and so my writing style's changed and hopefully gotten better since then. The thing is, I wrote the whole thing in less than two months: 45 chapters in that time. That's more or less a chapter every day, and the quality and the pacing are as you'd expect not all that great. So I want to neaten it up. I didn't want to just edit individual chapters, I wanted to restructure it too. So here's a whole new fic, peoples! Note: there is new content, as well.
