I have been writing Marvel fan fiction for about 9 years now. Mostly posting on fan fiction net under my name and, at one time, the Alvaro's Comics Message Boards (Thor, Cosmic Marvel, the Hulk and the Comics Battle Board) under my posting name of Garth.

In 2011 I wrote an "Alien Hunter" series for the Golden Visions science fiction magazine. The series remained on the internet until late July 2012 when the Golden Visions site closed down. I have now self published a novella based on this series (see above link). Alien Hunter, Star Trooper has received some favourable reviews:

I have had eight flash fiction stories published on the Australian Antipodean SF site: The Visit, Surprise Attack, Dangerous Journey, Inter-Net Writer, the Succession. Trathh, Equalisation and The Lodger in May 2013. A ninth story "The Young/Old War" is due to be published (and later podcast) in the August edition of Antipodean SF.

I am also writing about one quarter of the way in to writing a new "jumbo" size collection of sci-fi short stories. I don't envisage publishing this until some time in 2014.

I work as an economic and financial (and occasionally actuarial) consultant for various Australian Federal Government Departments.
