Occupation: University student somewhere in the United States of America. (Surprisingly enough, my major is not English or literature. Rather, I am a physics major ... but that's a story for another day.)

I've been reading on this site for several years, but only started writing here about two years ago. Long story. I can't promise you professional-grade writing, but I will do my best to make my work enjoyable to read. Your opinions on my writing, especially any constructive criticism, are very much appreciated, though I'd appreciate not receiving non-constructive flame reviews. Feel free to drop me a PM or an email any time (for those without an account... just copy/paste my username, remove the spaces, and add @ aim .com to the end).

Being a college student, my updates on chaptered stories are sporadic at best, so I'll try not to have too many incomplete at one time. I've been debating for a while which of my story ideas to work on next, but perhaps I ought to get further into my current one first... particularly considering it's essentially been on hiatus for the school year. When I feel ready to start a new project, maybe I'll list a few of the ideas here, and if one really stands out to you, drop me a PM?

My only in-progress story at the moment is "Fox's Wings". It is a Naruto fanfic, and is the multi-chapter sequel to my first posted story, "Fox Angel". Also taking place earlier in the same loosely-defined series (it can also stand alone and is not a formal prequel) is my finished story "Sea Serpent". I've finally gotten chapter four posted, which is something I planned to do a long time ago, but school kept me too busy to update for quite a while. Sorry about that. Plus, the recent manga chapters have left me... rather uninspired. Blerg. I'm hoping things go better for chapter five.

Please note that my two D.Gray-Man stories, "Fourteen" and "Wish", are a two-part series. There most likely will not be a third part, but I make no guarantees on that. I strongly suggest reading "Fourteen" first of the two, as it is first chronologically, and is also a better piece of writing, in my personal opinion.

I've been debating for a while as to whether or not I should change my pen-name. Kawaii Chibi Shun is a homage to my favorite character in Saint Seiya, one of the series that first sparked my interest in manga and anime, and is the name I've used since first anonymously reviewing fanfiction back in high school. However, throughout most of the internet, I use the pseudonym Liara-Shadowsong, or some derivative of it. Perhaps it's time for my name here to reflect that I'm no longer the teenage girl who first found FanFiction.net those years ago...

And my current icon? Drawn by yours truly. It's also my main icon on LiveJournal - the L.S. signature in the corner is for my username there, LiaraShadowsong. It's modeled after my avatar on GaiaOnline. And, no, I don't have purple hair in real life, only on the internet. Starting soon, you'll be able to see more artwork I've made on my new deviantART account. There's not much there yet, but if you check back at http :// Liara-Shadowsong . deviantart . com in the near future, you should be able to see some art for the Fox Angel series, as well as a few other projects I want to someday write.
