Personal Challenge:

I will write one Chronicles of Narnia fic based on every 'Trading Yesterday' (favorite band in the world!) song out there. Therefore, if you know ANY songs by them, PLEASE message me with the name of the song(s)! Thanks!!

Progress:

Challenge One, 'For You Only': Chapter One Done!

My friend's definition of Narnia, which I adopted with permission (forgive me, friend: I talk to so many on this site that it's hard for me to remember whom you are... But, I think I have you favorited, so I'll look you up in my Favorites and write your name here! If it's the wrong friend, please let me know!):

Narnia is a beautifully tragic tale.

My loves of the Narnia fandom:

One: First and foremost, I love the love between the siblings. There is so much potential there that even (or especially) Lewis didn't excavate, and I love it! Peter and Edmund/Lucy and Edmund have the most obvious opportunities for sibling bonding. Yet, there's also the slightly less obvious Susan and Peter/Lucy and Peter/Susan and Lucy. Then, there's the lesser one, Susan and Edmund. I try to have one or more of these in all of my Narnia fics, as they all somehow center around family anyway. Family, particularly the Pevensie family, is beautiful, so it should be cherished while it's here.

Two: The Biblical references all throughout the series are absolutely beautiful! Now, I have by no means come close to reading the Bible, but even I recognize numerous instances allegorical to the Christian Holy Book and adore every one! Luckily, my best friend agrees with me, as do my Mom and many on this site, I'm sure.

There are other things, but I'm supposed to be in bed now, so I'll write them up when I can! Night!

My questions/contemplations of the Narnia fandom:

One: I don't know how the Pevensies could possibly be fine after leaving Narnia, as they are in PC (book). I like it, considering the Peter in the movie annoyed me and made me hate Pete for a while, but it's not...realistic. Really, I enjoyed how the PC movie changed Pete (seeing as he's the only one whom changed from the book) because it was more real, but I also liked the book Peter because he wasn't a stupid, stubborn prig...I liked the friendship between Pete and Caspian in the book, and in the movie, I was sad to see the majority of their relationship as tension.

Two: The way they wrote some of the dialogue, though...that irked me. It was almost like the Pevensies hadn't grown up, like they hadn't ruled Narnia for fifteen years and merely regressed to children when they walked back through the wardrobe at Aslan's/His Father's Will.

Three: The night raid: don't get me started! There was no night raid in the book, and though the Narnian side, led by Caspian, did lose Narnians in the attempts to attack the Telmarines, there was nothing so horrid and stupid as a nigh raid led by a stubborn, childish High King.

There are other things, but I'm supposed to be in bed now, so I'll write them up when I can! Night!

"It is very true. But even a traitor may mend. I have known one that did." And he looked very thoughtful.- Edmund, Horse and His Boy

"That's the worst of girls," said Edmund to Peter and the Dwarf. "They never carry a map in their heads."

"That's because our heads have something inside them," said Lucy- Prince Caspian

"Look! Look! Look!" cried Lucy.

"Where? What?"asked everyone.

"The Lion," said Lucy. "Aslan Himself. Didn't you see?" Her face had changed completely and her eyes shone.

"Do you really mean-?" began Peter.

"Where did you think you saw Him?" asked Susan.

"Don't talk like a grown-up," said Lucy, stamping her foot. "I didn't think I saw Him. I saw Him."

..."But I know he was," said Lucy, her eyes filling with tears.

"Yes, Lu, but we don't, you see," said Peter.

"There's nothing for it but a vote," said Edmund.

"All right," replied Peter. "You're the eldest, D.L.F. What do you vote for? Up or down?"

"Down," said the Dwarf.

..."What do you say, Susan?"

"Don't be angry, Lu," said Susan, "but I do think we should go down. ...And none of us except you saw anything."

"Edmund?" said Peter.

"Well, there's just this," said Edmund, speaking quickly and turning a little red. "When we first discovered Narnia a year ago- or a thousand years ago, whichever it is- it was Lucy who discovered it first and none of us would believe her. I was the worst of the lot, I know. Yet she was right after all. Wouldn't it be fair to believe her this time? I vote for going up."

"Oh, Ed!" said Lucy, and seized his hand.- PC

..."I suppose we'll have to go right up the gorge again now," said Lucy.

"Lu, you're a hero," said Peter. "That's the nearest you've got today to saying I told you so. Let's get on."- PC

"Lucy," said Susan in a very small voice.

"Yes?" said Lucy.

"I see him (Aslan) now. I'm sorry."

"That's all right."

"But I've been far worse than you know. I really believed it was him- he, I mean- yesterday. When he warned us not to go down to the fir wood. And I really believed it was him tonight, when you woke us up. I mean, deep down inside. Or I could have, if I'd let myself. But I just wanted to get out of the woods and- and- oh, I don't know. And what ever am I to say to him?"

"Perhaps you won't need to say much," suggested Lucy.

...The boys strode forward: Lucy made way for them: Susan and the Dwarf shrank back.

"Oh, Aslan," said King Peter, dropping on one knee and raising the Lion's heavy paw to his face, "I'm so glad. And I'm so sorry. I've been leading them wrong ever since we started and especially yesterday morning."

"My dear son," said Aslan. Then he turned and welcomed Edmund. "Well done," were his words. Then, after an awful pause, the deep voice said, "Susan." Susan made no answer but the others thought she was crying. "You have listened to fears, Child," said Aslan. "Come, let me breathe on you. Forget them. Are you brave again?"

"A little, Aslan," said Susan.- PC (That scene is so telling! So sad!)

"I haven't come to take your place, you know, but to put you into it."- Peter, PC

"Are you all right, Ed?"- Peter

"I-I think so..." panted Edmund.- PC

...Peter leaned forward, put his arms round the Beast and kissed the furry head: it wasn't a girlish thing for him to do, because he was the High King.

"Best of Badgers," he said. "You never doubted us all through."

"No credit to me, your Majesty," said Trufflehunter. "I'm a Beast and we don't change. I'm a Badger, what's more, and we hold on."- PC

...He (Caspian) was liking Peter very much, but was rather tongue-tied. It was much stranger for him to meet the great Kings out of the old stories than it was for them to meet him."- PC

...Peter leant back with half-closed eyes and recalled to his mind the language in which he had written such things long ago in Narnia's Golden Age (I LOVE this!!):

Peter, by the Gift of Aslan, by election, by prescription, and by conquest, High King over all Kings in Narnia, Emperor of the Lone Islands and Lord of Cair Paravel, Knight of the Most Noble Order of the Lion, to Miraz, Son of Caspian the Eighth, sometime Lord Protector of Narnia and now styling himself King of Narnia, Greeting.

For to prevent the effusion of blood, and for the avoiding all other inconveniences likely to grow from the wars now levied in our realm of Narnia, it is our pleasure to adventure our royal person on behalf of our trusty and well-beloved Caspian in clean wager of battle to prove upon your Lordship's body that the said Caspian is lawful King under us in Narnia both by our gift and by the laws of the Telmarines, and your Lordship twice guilty of treachery both in withholding the dominion of Narnia from the said Caspian and in the most abhominable, bloody, and unnatural murder of your kindly lord and brother King Caspian Ninth of that name. Wherefore we most heartily provoke, challenge, and defy your Lordship to the said combat and monomachy, and have sent these letters by the hand of our well beloved and royal brother Edmund, sometime King under us in Narnia, Duke of Lantern Waste and Count of the Western March, Knight of the Most Noble Order of the Table, to whom we have given full power of determining with your Lordship all the conditions of the said battle. Given at our lodging in Aslan's How this XII day of the month Greenroof in the first year of Caspian Tenth of Narnia.- PC

...Between them (Glenstorm and Giant Wimbleweather) a figure they could not recognize. Nor indeed would the other boys at Edmund's school have recognized him if they could have seen him at that moment. For Aslan had breathed on him at their meeting and a kind of greatness hung about him.- PC

"Well done, Peter, oh, well done!" shouted Edmund as he saw Miraz reel back a whole pace and a half. "Follow it up, quick!" And Peter did, and for a few seconds it looked as if the fight might be won. ..."Peter is taking some dreadful knocks," said Edmund. ..."Both falling apart," said Edmund. "A bit blown, I expect. Watch. Ah, now they're beginning again, more scientifically this time. Circling round and round, feeling each other's defenses."

"The High King has pricked him in the armpit," said Caspian, still clapping. "Just where the arm-hole of the hauberk let the point through. First blood."

"It's looking ugly again now, though," said Edmund. "Peter's not using his shield properly. He must be hurt in the left arm."

..."You've seen more battles than I," said Caspian. "Is there any chance now?"

"Precious little," said Edmund. "I suppose he might just do it. With luck."

"Oh, why did we let it happen at all?" said Caspian.

Suddenly all the shouting on both sides died down. Edmund was puzzled for a moment. Then he said, "Oh, I see. They've both agreed to a rest. Come on, Doctor. You and I may be able to do something for the High King." They ran down to the lists and Peter came outside the ropes to meet them, his face red and sweaty, his chest heaving.

"Is your left arm wounded?" asked Edmund.

"It's not exactly a wound," Peter said. "...I don't think it's (his wrist's) broken, but it might be a sprain. If you could tie it up very tight I think I could manage."

While they were doing this, Edmund asked anxiously, "What do you think of him, Peter?"

"Tough," said Peter. "Very tough. I have a chance if I can keep him on the hop till his weight and short wind come against him- in this hot sun too. To tell the truth, I haven't much chance else. Give my love to- to everyone at home, Ed, if he gets me. Here he comes into the lists again. So long, old chap. Good-bye, Doctor. And I say, Ed, say something specially nice to Trumpkin. He's been a brick."

Edmund couldn't speak. He walked back with the Doctor to his own lines with a sick feeling in his stomach.

..."Oh, I do hope he won't listen to them (Telmarines)," said Caspian.

"Not he," said Edmund. "You don't know him- Oh!" ...But indeed there was no need to egg the usurper on. He was on top of Peter already. Edmund bit his lips till the blood came, as the sword flashed down on Peter. It looked as if it would slash off his head. Thank heavens! it had glanced down his right shoulder. The Dwarf-wrought mail was sound and did not break.

"Great Scott!" cried Edmund. "He's up again. Peter, go it, Peter."

..."Oh bother, bother, bother," said Edmund to himself. "Need he be as gentlemanly as all that? I suppose he must. Comes of being a Knight and a High King. I suppose it is what Aslan would like. But that brute will be up again in a minute and then-"

"To arms, Narnia. Treachery!" Peter shouted. ...Edmund was now at his side crying, "Narnia! Narnia! The Lion!"- PC (Goodness, I love Pete and Ed's relationship! Such a loving, beautiful bond!)

"Ride on me," said Aslan, and added to Susan and Lucy, "You two Queens will have to run now."

"But we'd like that just as well," said Susan. And off they went again.- PC (This gave me such an awesome idea for a Susan-Last Battle fic!)

"This is Caspian, Sir," he (Peter) said. And Caspian knelt and kissed the Lion's paw.

"Welcome, Prince," said Aslan. "Do you feel yourself sufficient to take up the Kingship of Narnia?"

"I- I don't think I do, Sir," said Caspian. "I'm only a kid."

"Good," said Aslan. "If you had felt yourself sufficient, it would have been a proof that you were not. Therefore, under us and under the High King, you shall be King of Narnia, Lord of Cair Paravel, and Emperor of the Lone Islands. You and your heirs while your race lasts. And your coronation-"- PC

"I am confounded," said Reepicheep to Aslan. "I am completely out of countenance. I must crave your indulgence for appearing in this unseemly fashion."

"It becomes you very well, Small One," said Aslan.

"All the same," replied Reepicheep, "if anything could be done... Perhaps her Majesty?" and here he bowed to Lucy.

"But what do you want with a tail?" asked Aslan.

"Sir," said the Mouse, "I can eat and sleep and die for my King without one. But a tail is the honor and glory of a Mouse."

"I have sometimes wondered, Friend," said Aslan, "whether you do not think too much about your honor."

"Highest of all High Kings," said Reepicheep, "permit me to remind you that a very small size has been bestowed on us Mice, and if we did not guard our dignity, some (who weigh worth by inches) would allow themselves very unsuitable pleasantries at our expense. That is why I have been at some pains to make it known that no one who does not wish to feel this sword as near his heart as I can reach shall talk in my presence about Traps or Toasted Cheese or Candles: no, Sir- not the tallest fool in Narnia!"

..."Why have your followers all drawn their swords, may I ask?" said Aslan.

"May it please your High Majesty," said the second Mouse, whose name was Peepicheek, "we are all waiting to cut off our own tails if our Chief must go without his. We will not bear the shame of wearing an honor which is denied to the High Mouse."

"Ah!" roared Aslan. "You have conquered me. You have great hearts. Not for the sake of your dignity, Reepicheep, but for the love that is between you and your people, and still more for the kindness your people showed me long ago when you ate away the cords that bound me on the Stone Table (and it was then, though you have long forgotten it, that you began to be Talking Mice), you shall have your tail again." Before Aslan had finished speaking the new tail was in its place. Then, at Aslan's command, Peter bestowed the Knighthood of the Order of the Lion on Caspian...- PC

...Edmund drew his sword and was about to challenge the stranger when the stranger said in a low voice, "Is that you, Edmund?"

"Yes. Who are you?" said he.

"Don't you know me?" said the other. "It's me- Eustace."

"By jove," said Edmund, "so it is. My dear chap-"

"Hush," said Eustace and lurched as if he were going to fall.

"Hello!" said Edmund, steadying him. "What's up? Are you ill?"

Eustace was silent for so long that Edmund thought he was fainting; but at last he said, "It's been ghastly. You don't know...but it's all right now. Could we go and talk somewhere? I don't want to meet the others just yet."

"Yes, rather, anywhere you like," said Edmund. "We can go and sit on the rocks over there. I say, I am glad to see you- er- looking yourself again. You must have had a pretty beastly time."- Voyage of the Dawn Treader

..."What do you think it was, then?"-Eustace

"I think you've seen Aslan," said Edmund.

"Aslan!" said Eustace. "I've heard that name mentioned several times since we joined the Dawn Treader. And I felt- I don't know what- I hated it. But I was hating everything then. And by the way, I'd like to apologize. I'm afraid I've been pretty beastly."

"That's all right," said Edmund. "Between ourselves, you haven't been as bad as I was on my first trip to Narnia. You were only an ass (A/N: I was so surprised when I read that...but then, I remembered this was a twenty-seven-year-old King of Narnia... lol.), but I was a traitor."

"Well, don't tell me about it, then," said Eustace. "But who is Aslan? Do you know Him?"

"Well- He knows me," said Edmund. "He is the Great Lion, the Son of the Emperor-Beyond-the-Sea, who saved me and saved Narnia. We've all seen Him. Lucy sees Him most often. And it may be Aslan's Country we are sailing to." Neither said anything for a while.- VDT

"Little girl! said Reepicheep. "The lady is a Queen!" ..."And if it is anything against her Majesty's honor or safety," added Reepicheep, "you will wonder to see how many we can kill before we die."

..."In other words," said Caspian, "you are asking this lady to face some danger which you daren't ask your own sister and daughters to face!"

..."Well, of all the outrageous-" began Edmund, but Lucy interrupted.

..."All right, then, I'll do it," said Lucy. "No," she said, turning to the others. "don't try to stop me. Can't you see it's no use? There are dozens of them there. We can't fight them. And the other way there is a chance."

"But a magician!" said Caspian.

..."Look here, Lu," said Edmund. "We really can't let you do a thing like this. Ask Reep, I'm sure he'll say just the same."

"But it's to save my own life as well as yours," (my personal favorite part!) said Lucy. "I don't want to be cut to bits with invisible swords any more than anyone else."

"Her Majesty is in the right," said Reepicheep. "If we had any assurance of saving her by battle, our duty would be very plain. It appears to me that we have none. And the service they ask of her is in no way contrary to her Majesty's honor, but a noble and heroical act. If the Queen's heart moves her to risk the magician, I will not speak against it."- VDT (I just love how protective they all are of Lu, especially Ed! I love sibling bonding so much!)

"Does your good Majesty mean to beggar me?" whined Pug

"You have lived on broken hearts all your life," said Caspian, "and if you are beggared, it is better to be a beggar than a slave..."- VDT (Caspian kicks butt in this scene!)

"...But I wish your Majesty wouldn't go. We may need your help here. This closing the slave market might make a new world; war with Calormen is what I foresee. My liege, think again."- Lord Bern

"I have an oath, my lord Duke," said Caspian. "And anyway, what could I say to Reepicheep?"- VDT (lol. I just love that line about our Mouse Knight of Narnia!)

Lucy now noticed something lying lengthwise on the table which had escaped her attention before. It was a knife of stone, sharp as steel, a cruel-looking, ancient-looking thing.

..."What is this Knife of Stone?" asked Eustace.

"No none of you know it?" said the girl.

"I- I think," said Lucy, "I've seen something like it before. It was a knife like it that the White Witch used when she killed Aslan at the Stone Table long ago."

"It was the same," said the girl, "and it was brought here to be kept in honor while the world lasts."

Edmund, who had been looking more and more uncomfortable for the last few minutes, now spoke...- VDT

"Please, Lamb," said Lucy, "is this the way to Aslan's Country?"

"Not for you," said the Lamb. "For you the door into Aslan's Country is from your own world."

"What!" said Edmund. "Is there a way into Aslan's Country from our world too?"

"There is a way into my Country from all the worlds," said the Lamb; but as he spoke his snowy white flushed into a tawny gold and his size changed and he was Aslan himself, towering above them and scattering light from his mane.

"Oh, Aslan," said Lucy. "Will you tell us how to get into Your Country from our world?"

"I shall be telling you all the time," said Aslan. "But I will not tell you how long or short the way will be; only that it lies across a river. But do not fear that, for I am the Great Bridge Builder. And now come; I will open the Door in the Sky and send you to your own land."

"Please, Aslan," said Lucy. "Before we go, will you tell us when we can come back to Narnia again? Please. And oh, do, do, do make it soon."

"Dearest," said Aslan very gently, "you and your brother will never come back to Narnia."

"Oh, Aslan!!" said Edmund and Lucy both together in despairing voices.

"You are too old, Children," said Aslan, "and you must begin to come close to your own world now."

"It isn't Narnia, you know," sobbed Lucy. "It's you. We shan't meet you there. And how can we live, never meeting you?"

"But you shall meet me, Dear One," said Aslan.

"Are- Are you there too, Sir?" said Edmund.

"I am," said Aslan. "But there I have another name. You must learn to know me by that name. This was the very reason why you were brought to Narnia, that by knowing me here for a little, you may know me better there."

"And is Eustace never to come back here either?" said Lucy.

"Child," said Aslan, "do you really need to know that? Come, I am opening the Door in the Sky." ...The feel of Aslan's mane and a Lion's kiss on their foreheads...- VDT

"...Back in our own world everyone soon started saying how Eustace had improved, and how "You'd never know him for the same boy": everyone except Aunt Alberta, who said he had become very commonplace and tiresome and it must have been the influence of those Pevensie children.- VDT

On another note, I thought up something called the 'Luna Lovegood Individuality Movement'; it's a movement that says you think everyone should be who they are, regardless of who might tease them or talk about them behind their back! To join, all you have to do is message me saying you'd like to participate and I'll add your name to the list that is posted here. After that, it will be a reminder for all that you believe in being whoever you want, and therefore CAN BE whoever you want and let others' cruel words simply blow past you! This might become something bigger if it gets larger than expected, but we'll have to wait and see first! Thanks to everyone who participates in this inspiring movement for kids of our age and younger, so they don't change themselves just because others think they should...Remember Luna!

Harry Potter Wonders:

One: Jo said herself she had a lot of work to do in order to make Ron worthy of Hermione in the last two books... Well, guess what my opinion is, everybody? I honestly think he's really trying too hard, and I find it obnoxiously annoying and pathetic (seventh book), and how dare he be all over Lavender and hurt Hermione so much?! Then again, it's not that Ginny or Ron are bad people... I think Ginny's a sweet girl, and though Ron can annoy the heck out of me at times, I believe they are good kids. Ron is always good for a laugh and is a mostly good friend (except when he argues and/or hurts Hermione's feelings or gets jealous of Harry), and Ginny, as I said, gave me the impression of being a sweet girl (at least when she was younger...up to the fifth book, perhaps. I'm not sure what my opinion is of her now).

Jo said she dated plenty of people like Ron, but ended up marrying someone like Harry. So, why would she make Hermione, who is just a reincarnation of herself, fall for a Ron...? That continues to stump me. My guess is maybe she wanted Hermione to live differently than she herself did and not follow in her footsteps like a 'copy'. Who knows?

Bottom line: I like Ginny and Ron, just not when they get all...unreasonable/arguing-with-Hermione/turning-against-Harry and way-too-Harry-Potter-fangirl-ish.

Harry and Hermione's possession of pure, true love forever reigns!

Two: In my utmost opinion, the name 'Hermione Weasley' sounds impossibly weak. Now, before you start tearing at me, let me express my other point. 'Hermione Potter' sounds strong, powerful. It's a strange thing to ponder, yes, but it really has me thinking! Being that I'm a never-die H/Hr shipper, this comes as a wonderful comfort on my account. However, as I said before, I hope this does not affect anyone's opinion of myself or my work, but rather, to open your mind and deeply interpret everything you come across.

Three: Where are the religious houses of worship at Hogwarts? I mean, seriously, these kids have got to practice some type of religion, right? Therefore, they wouldn't just stop practicing it after they turn eleven, would they? I think not, but then, where are they supposed to worship? They can't all crowd in the Common Rooms, and they'd have to have some way to keep their faith alive! It's peculiar to me that something like that would ever occur, that's all.

Four: How do they keep their clothes clean during the year? Hogwarts doesn't have a 'Laundry Wing', so how do the students wash their clothing articles? Perhaps the House Elves so it, or maybe it's a spell they use (much like the one they use to get the wrinkles out of their clothing if they're bad folders...-another wonder of mine-), but whatever it is, I'd really like to know!

Five: When I first saw the commercial or something (it may have been a sneak-peek thing) of 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' (it wasn't in theaters yet), and they showed the classic Harmony scene of the hug before the First Task (it was at a far away, to-the-side angle), I actually thought they were kissing! I honestly did! As I wasn't much of a Potter girl/Harry-Hermione shipper, along with the fact that I was young back then, I thought it was gross and didn't care. Now, however, as my pride and joy in life has been discovered (other than writing and school, that is! lol.), I would have died a million times over to have had that be what really occurred! Silly, dreaming me, I suppose!

Six: When Harry hugs Sirius in 'Order of the Phoenix', did anyone else notice that he hugged his godfather in the near exact way Hermione hugs him? I thought that was very interesting...lol.

Favorite Harry Potter Quote of All Time:

"You'll be okay, Harry. You're a great wizard, you really are."- Hermione

"Not as good as you."- Harry

"Me? Books, and cleverness? There are more important things: friendship, and bravery. And Harry, just be careful."- Hermione~

Other Favorite Harry Potter Moments/Quotes (You'll notice that most of them are Harry/Hermione!):

"A person can feel all that? That's mental."- Ron

"Well, just because you have the emotional range of a teaspoon doesn't mean we all have!"- Hermione

Hermione suddenly laughs beautifully, Harry and Ron smiling at her.

"Harry! It's Hermione!"- Neville

Ron and Harry lean over toward the entrance to the Great Hall and beam as bright as the stars as they see Hermione doing the same while she stands in the double doorway. They stand, and she begins running with all her might and happiness down the aisle of tables, and jumps into Harry's arms, hands curled into fists as she hugs him joyfully. He copies her, both of their smiles dazzling, as they rock from side to side and take in the other's presence: the Golden Trio is complete once again.

"Stop! Stop! You're going to put someone's eye out! Besides, you're saying it wrong. It's Leviosa, not Leviosa."- Hermione to Ron in Charms

"Let's see you try it then, if you're so smart. Go on!"- Ron

"Wingardium Leviosa!"- Hermione gets it in one second flat, and Ron leans on his books and pouts.

"Psst! Psst! Harry? Is that you?"- Hermione

"Yeah."- Harry

"How are you feeling? Okay?"- Hermione

No answer.

"The key is to concentrate. After that, you just have to..."- Hermione, lost for words.

"Battle a dragon."- Harry finished for her.

She mumbled a nearly inaudible 'Mm Hm', but it was muffled by a choked sob and a high whimper after that, and the next thing either of them knew, she was pushing back the tent flap and lunging at him, embracing him so tightly it was as if the world would end if anything were to happen to him...and she certainly knew hers would.

"Your wand, Harry! Your wand!"- Hermione in the stands of the First Task, watching Harry nearly be crushed by the Hungarian Horn-Tail's tail...

"Yes! YES!"- Hermione screaming at the top of her lungs, seeming to nearly be crying as she watches Harry fly towards the stands on his broom.~

"Maybe...you can do something...even something horrible...and not know you did it..."- Harry to Hermione and Ron after being accused of being the Heir of Slytherin.

"You don't believe that, Harry. I know you don't."- Hermione to him, a worried expression on her face.

"Are you scared of me, too, Hermione?"

"I'm scared, Harry, but not of you."

"It's too dangerous!"

"When are you going to get it into your head? We're in this together!"

Doesn't anyone else find it strange how that when Harry and Hermione go back in time and watch themselves with Draco and his baboons, Hermione's two front strands of hair are at just the right angle that they take the form of a heart in the wind? An H/Hr moment I recognized, and I find it very cool!

"Hey, Potter!" Harry leaves Hermione and turns away from the direction of Cedric's voice. However, the Hufflepuff catches up. "How...how are you?"

Harry stares at him, blatantly confused, as he answers.

"Spectacular."

Thank you to all of my faithful reviewers and friends! I appreciate your kindness in a way you'll never know, and I pray you'll stick with me!
