Well, it's really easy to spot me. Just find this girl of about 165cm with black hair of greatly varying length tied into a ponytail with a few stray strands of hair hanging at the side, who proclaims that Math is the key to the universe and looks slightly crazy. However, according to my friends, it's really hard to keep track of me. What often happens is that I happen to be right behind Wil, but she just can't find me.

By the way, just randomly, if whoever happens to be stalking my blog/this account reads this, please tell me how you managed to find out that I'm DarkBlaziken in the first place.

Stories

What I do not read: shounenai/yaoi/slash, shoujoai/yuri/femmeslash and incest. Also fanfiction with explicit mature content. (That's lemon for you) And perhaps fanfiction with terrible spelling and grammar with incoherent sentences.

Yes, now i am more or less open to all other pairings, even if it means MatthewNino (sighs) or something as absurd as that. Obviously i still have my preferences.

I do not write poetry because I simply don't write them well unlike Absol Master (Yeah Wil you rock!). But I do parody songs, and come up with song lyrics, or random strings of incoherent words.

Preferences

"Almost Fangirl": Well, I've been accused of being an 'almost fangirl' quite a lot, so I shall just talk about it.

So, you may wonder: What exactly is an 'almost fangirl'? Well, by definition, a fangirl is someone who's crazy about a male character from a manga, game, book, etc. and dreams of marrying the character, blah. A rabid fangirl tries to claim the said character as her 'own'. Well, I'm crazy about certain characters, but I don't fit into the other categories. Voila, there you have the 'almost fangirl'--someone who may overreact about certain male characters, but not fall in love with the character.

The following is a list of (male) characters I have currently been accused of being an 'almost fangirl' for. The list would grow, mind. (Hello, they're certainly male since I'm perfectly straight and do not fangle over female characters)

Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken: Matthew (the one I'm accused of being an almost fangirl the most), Erk, Guy, Heath, Raven. Basically, my top 5 faves in that order.

Death Note: Mello and Matt (Mail Jeevas) yes the one who appeared for 12 panels, died, and became one of the most popular characters ever.

Power of Five: Matt(hew) Freeman

Digimon: Matt Ishida (gen 1) and Koji (Frontier) Yes I realised that I almost fangirl over a lot of characters by the name of Matthew...not my fault.

Black Magician Trilogy: Ceryni and Dannyl (STILL can't believe he's gay) and Akkarin

Artemis Fowl: Artemis Fowl Jr. (he's a genius and all...)

You may have realised I do not almost fangirl over any Pokemon character. Well, that's because they're not really that nice. In terms of character and all. No Harry Potter characters either. So basically, for a fandom I really like, I may not almost fangirl over anyone.

Preferred pairings: Though I've said earlier that I'm open to almost all pairings now, it doesn't mean I don't have my preferences. So here goes:

Random/Trivia

I have DeviantART, Facebook and many other gaming accounts (including Neopets, RuneScape, Battleon/AdventureQuest, MapleStory, Fiesta, Clubpenguin, KoL etc.). I also have an account in a Chinese FE website.

I have played Pokemon R/B/Y, Pokemon G/S/C, Pokemon R/S/E, Pokemon Psychic, Pokemon LG/FR, Pokemon Pinball and Pokemon Dungeon: Red Rescue team (bolded letters means the version(s) I have played out of the similar series). Therefore, I know Pokemon up to Hoenn very well, but have rather limited knowledge of the Sinnoh generation.

I have played Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword (otherwise known as FE7, FE: RnK or FE (Independent)) in all modes except hard mode for Eliwood and Hector for the English version. I am playing its Chinese counterpart, and is currently at the start of Hector Normal Mode (depends on when i update this). I have also played Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones to halfway, but gave up due to the less interesting story plot (in my opinion). I have rather good knowledge of FE7, a smattering of knowledge of FE8 and FE6 and just basic knowledge for the other FE versions.

I am an avid fan of classical music, and one of the sung pieces i enjoy most is Mozart's Requiem in D Minor (which, incidentally, is the key the FE7 Requiem was written in. I enjoy that Requiem too). Favourite composers include Mozart, Debussy (yeah Absol Master he ROCKS), Saint-Saens (just for his Carnival of Animals), Beethoven and quite a lot more.

Incidentally, I'm not the only person on the internet by the name of DarkBlaziken, but certainly the only one who's DarkBlaziken and AF. So if you see DarkBlaziken, it's not always me.

Pending Fanfics (Plot Bunnies)

Yes, I have a lot of plot bunnies. Hm. But I don't ever have the time to write them. Okay, I shall try to write them. Here they are anyway, tell me if you think it'd develop into a nice story.

Fire Emblem
-Raven's perception of "friends" (Oneshot, inspired by my friend--no, associate who turned out as Raven for the FE quiz.)

-Looks can be deceiving--chaptered fic, probably the longest I'd ever write, where I kill off every (playable) FE character one by one until the killer is revealed (guest-starring Xyn, my friend as the tactician)

-Consequences--chaptered fic. Matthew finds a...something that can reverse time (wow I love reversing time), goes back to save Leila but results in a series of other consequences he never expected.

-Fire Emblem Academy--high school novelization of FE: RnK.

-Trapped in between (chaptered, I already wrote down the fic but probably will never have the courage to post it)--Erk x Serra x Matthew triangle, Matthew x Leila, with minor mentions of Hector x Florina and Eliwood x Ninian. Post-FE7, Matthew dies. As usual.

-A series of FE Tributes (chaptered) -- Humor, where I repeatedly kill Nergal and the Fire Dragon with various characters and amusing results (warning to myself: might get really lame and pointless)

-Aurelia's past--of how Aurelia became the group's tactician. NOT a novelization. More of her life at tactician school. Inspired by my teacher, who told us not to be boxed in by our GPAs.

-sequel to Lost in Arceus' Time--space-travel, FE-Pokemon crossover

-The Five of Disaster Quintet--following the oneshot "The Five of Disaster", 5 more stories, one dedicated to each pokemon, telling the story behind how they became what they became. The tenative titles:
1) Solace of Darkness (also Life of a Pokemon) -- already complete, and since it fits I shall use it. Pokemon outliving trainer--DarkBlaziken
2) Cages of Fire -- Pokemon being caught against its own will -- Arcanine Majesty
3) Music of Thunder -- Pokemon bred in captivity, has never seen its real home, longs to be free -- ThunderBlastoise
4) Cry of Wind -- Pokemon abused by trainer --VaporeonHurricane
5) Silencer of Chaos -- (silencer as in the gun silencer) illegal pokemon poaching and selling --Absol Master
