I started out as a avid reader of a variety of fandoms, and in September 2007, I decided to try my hand at a bit of writing. My pieces may not always be to everyone's taste, but I do try my best. I am available through PM if you want to chat about anything I write. Anonymous reviews have been enabled for those who do not want to sign in or can't.

Just so you know, my offerings tend to be a little dark or depressing. For some reason, no matter how hard I try, I just have a problem writing an upbeat fic. Doesn't mean I will stop trying. Perhaps, I will write a nice light-hearted piece. I can but hope. But for the most part, I try to work from a character's personality. This is for those who may not like those types of stories.

I do take suggestions for fics, but draw the line at bashing for bashing's sake writing, so you will never see that type of fic here. Humor and romance fics are definitely out of my league, so please bear that in mind should you offer an idea for me.

I ask only one thing in regard to my stories, that if there is something you find wrong or just plain awful about something in any of them, let me know so I can work on it or maybe even delete the story if it is beyond saving. I know I'm not the best author out there, and will take advice on how to improve anything I write. Constructive criticism is something I would find very helpful for any future endeavors. Flames will be given the attention they deserve. If they contain criticism that is constructive, I will overlook a great deal. All others will be ignored should they give no viable reason for dislike.

November 22, 2009: Busier month than the norm. First, I rewrote and reposted my Beast Wars story as I said I would. Had it out at the beginning of the month. It's not perfect, I know, but that prompt was not easy, considering one of the characters I had to use. I feel I did my best, however. This one, believe it or not, is better than the original. The title is Tempus Volat Hora Fugit, which in Latin means "Time flies, the hour flees".

Second, my other planned story for the TMNT fandom is now up as well. I had intended to put it off for a bit longer, but I decided otherwise after a bit of editing today. It is called Solitude's Price, and is a small look inside of Leonardo's head.

Solitude's Price is the last of my standing projects and I will be turning now to my longer term one regarding Transformers. This one is likely going to be some time in coming out, however, as I wish to get it right. I will likely post other one-shots during this time, but they will be very few and far between. Hope you all enjoy what I already have written in the meantime.

October 24, 2009: After realizing that it stank big-time, and wasn't my best work, I removed my third Beast Wars related story, Waiting Too Long, for a major overhaul. I'll be using the same prompt, but am going to shoot for a story that connects better with the prompt. It will return only once I am completely satisfied with it. Even I can't deny I could have done better with it, considering how I wrote the first two. The writing of Hatred's Reminder helped me realize that I am capable of better and reminded me that I should not post anything until it is up to my own standards. I posted a story once where I didn't even stop to think about that and it tanked. I should have known better than to forget this. Guess that's what I get for putting out a writer's block story. It did serve it's original purpose, but was definitely something that should never have seen the light of day. The other projects mentioned in my last note are still in the back of my mind and will follow eventually. However, that will happen only once they meet my standards. It may mean a far slower pace for me, but is nothing I won't be able to handle.

And to all who have taken the time to check out Hatred's Reminder, I thank you for taking the time to do so. My Naruto stories were how I started, and it does my mind good when I see new hits for them, right down to my oldest stories. I can't promise to return to the fandom to write, however I will not close the door completely on that, as I once thought I would. Thank you to all the readers of my Naruto stories.

Further, I also wish to thank those who checked out my story Outcast of the Juunishi. This was my longest and most ambitious story. While I didn't get quite the response I hoped, and likely will not be writing again for the Fruits Basket fandom (not sure I could do it justice, although I do love the manga, even in spite of my fading interest in manga in particular). However, though it may not have gotten the attention I hoped, it certainly got more than I expected and that is enough. I'm glad that people took the time to take a peek at it, even if they didn't stay until the end. Thank you for making me feel a part of that fandom, even if that will be my only time there. I will also extend thanks to those who may check it out in future.

October 3, 2009: Soon, I will be posting the final two chapters of Outcast of the Juunishi. When I started it one year ago, I considered it an ambitious project. As far as I knew and still know, no one in the Fruits Basket fandom had yet written a story from the Zodiac Spirits POV. I could be wrong, but I hadn't seen one, and felt compelled to at least try. While I'd be the first to admit that it didn't quite go as I wanted it to, I believe I did my best with what I had. Perhaps others will try their hands at it, it would be nice to see more stories that try to portray it from the POV of the Spirits themselves. But with the ending of this project, I am looking for others, and have thought of three.

I know I said I didn't know how long it would be before I could look at my other ideas seriously, but after thinking hard about it, I decided as long as it was a limited amount and I did one at a time, I could manage. After suffering through writer's block for Eulogy for a Shinobi, I realized that it was getting harder to come up with ideas for the Naruto fandom. Plus, I was starting to realize my interest was fading. So I chose to leave the fandom. Now I intend to return briefly, to deal with a long-standing idea, and strongly suspect it will be my last post for this fandom. Although at one time, I toyed with the idea of creating a third story to join my "Hatred" series, I wasn't sure if I could do it as well as the other two. I've finally decided to give it a try and it shall be my next project. This third story is going to come off directly from Growth's ending, and is going to focus on Gaara and Yashamaru on the night of the betrayal. I'm shooting for November to have it posted. The length of time is due to the fact I want to get it done right, and will be working on it when the demands of real life are not calling. Tentative title is "Hatred's Explosion". (EDIT 10/7: Title is changed to something more workable and connects it to its predecessors. Story is now fully written and in editing stages. Suprisingly even to me, the story will be posted by the beginning of next week. Must admit, I didn't expect it to come together as quickly as it has. Guess it was always brewing away back there without my realizing it)

The couple of small ideas I mentioned in my previous entry are as follows: Transformers, leaving the Beast Wars era. This one has certain characters, as well as universe, in mind and will take all my attention to get it right. This one will likely not be out until sometime next year. Another idea comes from the TMNT fandom, and while I know who I want to focus on character-wise, I am looking for the right angle to present it. That one is likely going to follow Hatred's Reminder, date of release uncertain at this time.

As for the Sonic fandom, chances are good right now that I will not return to it. I'd like to, but I just cannot find the inspiration to do so. Perhaps one day I shall. I find there is one character I like writing about, and maybe I'll change my mind in the next few months. We shall see.

September 27, 2009: Looking at the dates of my published stories today, I realized it is just going on two years since I started writing here. I'd simply like to take the time to thank those who read or at the very least check out my stories. It gives me encouragement to keep trying. I've noticed I'm slowing down now with my ideas and writing for a variety of reasons, not least real life. However I do not plan to stop yet. I do have a couple of small ideas, and hopefully those will come to fruition by the end of this year.

September 24, 2009: Finally have all the chapters for Outcast completely typed up and uploaded. Chapter 5 is now up, and the remaining 3 will follow as soon as I am completely satisfied with the edits for them. As for the Transformers/Beast Wars story I posted yesterday, that was an attempt to ease the writer's block I was suffering from for chapter 5 of Outcast, and even I wasn't satisfied with the final version. I will likely be rewriting and reposting that shortly, now that I have finally completed my major project after a year (part of that time spent in waiting for the references I needed rather than writing). Guess my cure worked, strange as the story was. And I correct what I said back in August about not having the 4th chapter up by September. Seems I got both 4 and 5 up within the last half of the month. However, it will be completely posted during the early days of October, likely during the first week.
