Fics I've Completed

Self Loathing: Not the first fic I've written, but it is the first fic I actually completed. This one shot was based on the manga and was based on the two person "love triangle" between Momoko and Natuki. As there weren’t any translations of the manga at the time of this fic's writing, I only had the visuals (of volume 1) to work with, and because of that I tried to avoid any direct references to the manga. Perhaps when the manga does get translated maybe I will go back and give this fic a complete overhaul.

Confession: I never really planned to write this one! I'm not really a fan of the PPGxRRB pairings. But then this fic probably wouldn't work that well with any other pairing. Most pairing fics out there (not limited to the PPGxRRB pairings) tends to focus on the pairing itself and usually avoids what other people might think of it. Which is a shame really because I felt that Professor Utonium's reaction to the girls being in love was one of the highlights of episodes 12 and 32!

The Green Mobile: Writen because the Gangreen Gang didn't get that much screen time in the anime and because not many writers try to write about them. I found that they are such fun villians to write about and there should really be more Gangreen centered fics out there.

Something To Hold Onto: This one was based on the girls sleeping habits, Kaoru's in particular. Take a look at episode 16 and 31, and then look at where Kaoru's hand is positioned near the end of episode 34!

When I Learnt To Fly: I've always been rather curious about what was going on in the girls' heads when they first became Powerpuff Girls. Mainly because they acted rather differently in those two episodes then the others (they bared more resemblance to their original namesakes in those episodes). I tried writing this one from Miyako's perspective because she's the girl I usually find the most difficult to write about.

Fics I'm Working On

Black Sun: In episode 52 Kare's power, imprisoned in the white lights, was jettisoned into space. This was a good idea in theory because Kare gets stronger with heat and therefore should be powerless in a cold empty vacuum. However Kare manages to escape the white lights by steering them into a new born star. Taking over the star and using its heat to fuel his power, Kare returns to Earth and creates a heat wave that will also turn everyone against each other. This fic is sort of based on the original episode "Tough Love" except Kare's spell will affect everyone (including the Powerpuff Girls).

Rescue Team Epsilon: The Mystery Dungeon game is what got me back into Pokemon so I always wanted to try and adapt it. Ofcourse with so many other adaptations out there I try to make my one a bit more unique and I try to address the issues that usually get ignored.
