Author has written 11 stories for Star Wars. I saw The Empire Strikes Back when it came in 1980. I was 11 at that time and I thought it changed my life. About the same time I read C.S. Lewis' Narnia books and The Lord of the Rings and had the same feeling about them. I still speculate whether they really did change my life... Anyway, after all these years, I still love this stuff. I had a bit of a break when it comes to Star Wars, though. I remember being disappointed with Return of the Jedi, mostly because Luke never really popped out as that Grand-Hero-Who- Rescues-Everybody. Also among my friends everybody adored Han Solo so I guess I felt kind of stupid loving an uncool hero like Luke. Being a nerd wasn't acceptable in those days. But when I got an internet connection everything changed. Probably because I then realized I wasn't the only one. I discovered the EU and fanfiction, and soon after, I started to write myself. Before that, I had told myself storied in my head (you know on bus trips, in the train and in the waiting room for the dentist and stuff) but had never had the nerve to write anything down. So at the moment I'm busy writing old and new stories down, whenever I find time. Only Star Wars so far. There's a real life getting in the way of course, but that's the way it should be, I guess. Another thing that gets in the way is that english is not my mother tongue. So I'm dependent on help from friends to get the texts right. And in the end I'm not really able to give them the finish I'd wish. But I've decided to post anyway.
