Hello there! I'm AkatsukiVampiress!
I'm an eighteen-year-old female, and most consider me to be goth/emo, but I prefer calling myself a geek or nerd. The basics: I like anime/manga, creative writing, human psychology, vampires, slash pairings, 4chan, realistic traps, heavy metal, and visual kei. The kind of anime/manga I enjoy is mecha, shonen, and sci-fi. I used to be a huge anime fan. Now, because of school, I feel like I don't have time to watch anime or read manga. I'm a psychology major at my city's university. I consider myself a humanist (I believe that we are all created equal), someone with a hippie's attitude (for my love of a green world, peace, freedom, and free love), and I stand up for gay rights. Most confuse me for a J-rock obsessed fan girl who will pair anything that's male, which is completely untrue. I like slash pairings, and only pair people that I feel are good together, based on their connection; I don't like crack pairings and I don't squeal over every male in sight. My favorite type of music is heavy metal, NOT J-rock (though I like visual kei).
I'm a writer in training, and can be very sensitive with comments and especially to criticism on my writing and drawing, although I am critical when it comes to both.

My goal on fanfiction.net: to create a story that will get me over 1000 hits, over 100 reviews, and to make those who read it cry. I want to create a story that will capture the hearts of everyone who reads it.

I don't really mention this in my stories (mainly because I rush my author's notes) but I'd like to thank my cousin CrazedIndividual and my younger sister for inspiring me, motivating me, and providing me with ideas that make my stories better. "Helpless Torment" would have been nowhere if it weren't for them. :')
