Okay, I'm a little afraid to talk to you lot now ...

I've just realised I've been gone for a month. Over a month actually.

I'm so sorry everyone, I am working on the next chapter I promise. I'm on the last section and the second it's done it'll be online.

Real life has just taken up all of my attention, my job has been giving me more and more hours and I love that cus I need the money but WADAFM is constantly on my brain.

There'll be something soon honest.

Right lads and ladies the first ten chapters of my rewrite of What A Difference A Father Makes is now online. Yay! lol.

From here on out the updates are going to be from anywhere between a week and a fortnight.

Life stands in the way regularly as at work I'm picking up more shifts more regularly and I am not always at 100% capability after them or on my days off but I will do my best to hit the two week deadline and not let this story die ... again.

I sincerely hope you're enjoying the story so far and keep reading.

Hello again!

Now I've just had a relatively amusing/heart-warming review. Unfortunately it was anonymous and therefore I can't reply to her directly. Thus this little notice.

I am working on chapter number ten of my rewrite. That's five chapters in the space of two months. For any of you who've read my work before you'll know that's really good for me lol. Harry is still the same for the most part. Still actually male. I'm not going to give much away mind but I can assure anyone who's worrying about Harry/Hermione and Harry/Ginny pairings.

I don't like Harry/Hermione, it's like Harry shagging his sister. Not cool. Even in my story, where they aren't all that close, it'd feel wrong.

Harry/Ginny has always left me with a bad taste in my mouth. She looks far too much like Lily, Freud would love Harry Potter in my opinion.

There will be stuff out in the first days of 2013 though so just have a bit more patience with me please.

I'm giving this story my all guys but I do have a job that's taking more and more of my time. Honestly, I'm not even writing my original work (much to my and my mentor's irritation lol). It's Harry Potter fanfiction all the way at the moment.

Right, hope that's appeased you impatient lot lol.

Just a little hello. It's been eight months I know and you despise me for my laziness. I can console you with the plan I have in place and the amount I have actually written.

I have 5 completed and minted chapters of my rewrite of What A Difference A Father Makes. It's rather different than the original and in my honest opinion it's better.

Unfortunately I won't be publishing anything before the new year at the earliest or when I have at least 20 chapters. I want to be mostly out of the fourth year by then, if not entirely. This story will stretch on for years of Harry's life and it will be going post Hogwarts so this will be a LONG fic and I will be updating at twenty chapters/1 book, a time.

I'm working like a fiend you see, not just on writing but at my new job as well and I will only get busier. I will finish the story though of that you have my word.

How do all, I'm sure you've been wondering where on Earth my submissions have gone and I'm sorry for the radio silence. The third year of my writing degree and other uni responsibilities have pretty much sucked up all my time.

However this little bulletin is to let you know I will be updating soon, but more as a re-write of my stories. I'm re-writing What A Difference A Father Makes, (my Harry Potter story) and will probably start on The Konoha Chronicles eventually or start a brand new story with much more detail.

I read them guys, I can do better.

So any of you lovely lot who are still paying attention, please be a little more patient with me. I'll start again the second I get my laptop back from the shop. It broke on me again and it has everything I'll need.

Bear with me a little longer.
