Author has written 10 stories for Phantom of the Opera. I am old enough not to want to broadcast just how old I am but not quite as old as dirt just yet. Give me a few more years. I do enjoy my family but I also crave the peace and quiet away from them occassionally. I enjoy reading, writing, going out to the movies and to dinner. If their is a good concert or play that is fun also. I have seen POTO on the stage a few years ago. I did like it although I didn't get the same emotional charge that I got from the movie. On stage you don't really get to see their emotions like you do in movies. For me Gerard Butler will now and forever be The Phantom. I don't care what anyone else says I think he sang beautifully and would love to hear his singing voice again. I get my Gerry-Phantom fix by watching my DVD of POTO over and over again. Good thing I have two copies. I have read Leroux's Phantom of the Opera, Kay's Phantom and several published works by other authors on this subject. POTO is by far my favorite reading material. I don't what I'd do if it suddenly went away, if no one wrote stories for it any more. Well yes I do, I'd go into a writing frenzy to create my own POTO world. When I get the courage I am thinking of starting a webpage just for everything Phantom and my loveable, handsome hunk, Gerard Butler. He is for me the very essence of the Phantom. Of course I know others won't agree but that is why it is only my opinion. (The Phoenix of the Opera by Sadie Montgomery) (The Phantom's Journey/Out of the Darkness by Sadie Montgomery) The fourth book is out. It is called Phantom Death. I haven't read it yet. I have only read an excerpt from it on Sadie Montfomery's website. I have written several POTO stories. I have never posted any before. My stories were sort of a private thing for me until I found ff.net. I started to read everyone elses prose and thought I might like to share mine. My first few are o-kay but the more I write the better I get at my craft. I will never be a great literary talent but I do enjoy the creative process. I do want reviews whether positive or negative. Naturally we all want only good things to be said about our writing but with constructive criticism comes growth. I do hope you enjoy reading my stories as much as I enjoyed writing them. June 11, 2008 Just a little update concerning things in my little world. I have finally started the last book of the Sadie Montgomery series, Phantom Death. I have the complete story written for Stolen Lady and will be posting the last few chapters soon. I don't know if I'll just work on Ascent to Power or post another story. I have quite a few that are finished but need to be edited. I have also been working on a number of others. I will just need to decide which one calls to me the most. I'll try to update my bio from time to time. At the moment it is as dull as ditch water. For all those who have read and reviewed I thank you. I thank those who took the time to read what has been a journey of discovery for me. I just recently found out that the filter was on so anonymous readers could not review my stories. If you have wanted to give a review but were unable to please feel free to do so now. Wow. I went and did it. I got a webpage. Well really it is a blog page. I thought it was a regular website but it isn't. Dummy, technology challenged me. Here is where to find it. Not sure how to work this but I hope I did it right. http://hot4gerry.angelfire.com/blog/ March 2, 2009 Well I finally did it. I put up a webpage. It is a free one so if I goof it doesn't cost me a fortune to let everyone know how inept I am technology wise. I am still building the site so I don't have a lot on it. Right now I only have a link to ff.net for my stories here but later I will be putting up some of my earlier work for those who are brave to read. My earlier stuff is really rough. I need to edit it a lot and vamp it up a little. That's why it will go on my own site first, so I can see if it is as bad as I think it is. Bleedingheartconservative has helped me a great deal. I think I have driven her crazy with my questions and problems. She has helped me find the answers I needed. Sometimes just sending her an e-mail will help me find a solution on my own. Well if it works the link is below. Hope to get kind feedback for my site. http://hot4gerry2.angelfire.com/ (You can get to the YouTube address from my site or from the link below. March 23, 2009 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znaHa8UPQNg I do hope this works. Thanks for watching. Remember let me know what you think. Be kind this is my first. March 24, 2009 I went in to add remake of my video and stupid me, I deleted it before I could replace it with the new one. So once again here is the address and title if you wish to search for it like that, or this link doesn't work. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVnGvmLkgY8 I Can't Help Falling In Love With You POTO final cut | |||||||||
