Story Time :)

I am a hhuuggee Phanatic, and I'm always coming up with new ideas for DP fanfictions that may or may not make themselves known when I get up to typing them out. The stories that aren't about Danny Phantom will probably be crossovers, or maybe the occasional not-DP stories. I know I'll eventually get one up for Twilight and Harry Potter but for now, I'm sticking with what I know and what I've learned by reading other fanfics. 7/23/08 - new twilight story up :) 10/13/08 - working on another one; an x-over.
any funny (or stupid, really) oneshots will probably be of anything I can think of at the top of my head (be warned: your IQ will drop several points).

Danny Phantom's Ghost Powers:
As per canon, and depending on what time a story takes place, he will always have the usual; ghost sense, intangibility, invisibility, overshadowing, ghost rays/shields, freezing powers, his Ghostly Wail, et cetera. If you go to Wikipedia and search Danny Phantom (character), you'll find what I'm looking at.
Well, sure, he has all those ghost powers, and we all know he can use them in his human form. But wouldn't that give him some kind of...advantage, I guess, over everyone else? As in, shouldn't he have heightened everything due to his ghost half? Ghosts are generally stronger than humans. Danny, Dani, and Vlad in particular should be stronger, seeing as how they are half ghosts, and are still human in some way, making them stronger than the average human while they're human. Ghosts are faster, stronger, and just plain better than humans in the whole talent department. And, as most ghosts (at least in the show) are natural hunters, be it for prey, technology, attention, or for teen misery, I believe that their senses have also upped the ante.
So they're ghosts; they can walk through walls, make you want to rub your mother's feet for hours, and can go invisible at any given time. But they also can see, hear, taste, feel, and smell better than any human, just like they heal faster and stuff. Which means Danny, Dani and Vlad can also see, hear, taste, you know the rest, better than the people around them.
So that's my theory on Danny's ghost powers. I hope you guys aren't too confused. Punchline - Danny's senses are awesome because he's a ghost.
