Interesting fact about me: I have a major obsession when it comes to pairings...but not enough to make it look like I'm sick in the head, because I am not. So yeah, basically, I am a pairings freak. Whom I like together as a pairing, is pretty much what I like.

I haven't written fanfics lately. I just...keep getting distracted. Or rather, I seem to have lost the 'magic'. Going to all these forums...have made me either more sane or more insane, can't tell which. Okay, now to ramble about the pairings I am for some reason, absolutely nuts about. (in no particular order)

Black Cat

TrainxRinslet - One word: Plot bunnies. No wait, that's two words. One word about the anime adaptation of Black Cat: Decay. --; Plus it disregarded the pairing. This is why I despise anime these days...

Persona 3

Main P3/MinatoxYukari - Well, I need to play more of P3 to get more insight on this...

Digimon 01-02

TaichixSora - fandom wanked. That's exactly what the creator of Digimon did to this pair. I won't hide it, I am STILL fucking bitter about this. Considering that I was rooting for Pokemon's AshxMisty and Digimon's TaixSora...NONE of the two will ever happen, considering the latter got shafted to hell. But I don't care much for canon now. But still, what Toei did was just...jeez. I heard a rumor that there was a poll for Taiora and Sorato and yet, despite whichever won, Sorato would be the winner. RIGGED! Fucking rigged!

Course, yeah, I was ten years old back then. I couldn't do shit. Well, nine years later, might as well cause a ruckus. But I am still sane of mind, don't worry. Course, the reason why I am more with this instead of AshxMisty now, is because...I should have been rooting for childhood pairings more. I won't like ALL childhood pairings though...though the ones I've seen and read all just feel great to me. Exceptions are those like IchigoxTatsuki pretty much.

I know this sounds REALLY stupid but just once, in my entire life, if I could just see ONE pairing I TRULY support actually happen, I could forget what -I- could have had. Yeah, really stupid huh? It's practically the main reason why I am such a freak with pairings. I want to see the happiness of two fictional characters I support entirely. And yes, this means it has to be canon. Sorry, I know I sound like a huge fucking ass but I'm serious. If just ONE could happen, I could pretty much let go. Let go of what feelings left I have for the girl I lost my chance for...

As for why I support Taiora. I pretty much saw the hints in the dub English and they were as clear as day. Childhood friends, best friends, understood each other, had nearly the same interest in things. Only in 02, Sora grew out of being a tomboy and Tai well "matured". Okay, sorry, he did mature. Sucks though, that back when I was ten, I couldn't really understand romance that well. Blame Ranma 1/2 and my relatives. --; Got my first glimpse into it when I was 5 really. Yeah...which is why I like pairings that people would label mostly as 'delusional'. Well, Taiora is NOT delusional. Delusional is...HarryHermione which I err...once supported... ; Yeah...I don't mind HarryxGinny. Sides, I am more calmer with this than Sorato, being that I like anime more than realism. Plus, feel free to bombard me all you want when I say this but it feels like Taichi was 'cheated' and Yamato got pretty much...everything.

To be honest, I can't tell so far whether I am fuming or trying to give my opinion in as clear-headed reasons as possible. Point is, I don't see Sorato. I'm sorry Digimon creator but I just don't see it. If you wanted Sorato to be obvious, you should have been much more careful with the character interactions. Sides, Taiora's awesome no matter how much I look at it now. Even after nine years, it has become a greatest fav pairing I adore once more. And when I like a pairing, it is impossible to convince me out of supporting it.

As for the 'canon is canon', I don't care. Some people like canon, some like non-canon, some like crack, and some well, crack is practically the craziest of what one can like about a pairing. To me, Taiora is what could have been great canon. I feel like shit now though, nine years...I am so late to come running back to support them again... Well, as one of my favorite sayings go, "Never say never."

Bleach

IchigoxOrihime (OTP) - I could go into a whole long thing about them but I'd rather not. I hate getting old...

Oh what the hell! Anyways, the way I see Ichihime is pretty complicated... Well no duh. But lots of fans (a certain number of them I will note) hate the pairing. I don't know why but all I can get is that Ichihime was at first a laughable thought to them but now that it is actually happening more and more in the manga, it is a threat to be noticed! Which is sad. If anything I see Ichihime as its own and not at all similar to other known pairs. But I have faith in it just as a friend of mine has faith in NaruHina and lemme tell you, he's REALLY into that pair. Sadly though, I'm a NaruSaku for Naruto through-and-through.

Oh and btw...they're my OTP now. That's right, I support the most hated (according to my knowledge of the fanbases against it) and laughed at pair of the series but every fan has their own interpretation of pairings. No one pairing is canon until the creator of the series says otherwise. To me though, selfish as it may seem, this is a pairing I have to see happen. Damn right. I said it. I will see this to the end!

Oh and if people think I'm happy that this pair is actually possible to be canon, it's not it. I will respect Kubo's reasons for them not happening (though it would be hard to take at first) since Bleach is HIS work, and not mine or anyone else's for that matter. But no matter what, IchigoxOrihime is one of those rare pairings that is hard to find in stories nowadays and frankly, pairings where the opposite sex fight with each other just irritates me now.

Hayate no Gotoku

HayatexMaria - Plot bunnies could kick in if it weren't for having to deal with references... Lemons are another issue though...

It's been so long since I've written and posted fanfiction. I just don't have the time. But I am consideringto rewrite Viridian Fall. Maybe one day, I'll churn out a better version of my Bleach fic? Right now, I have three fics to really work on: Cuffed, a Black Cat TrainxRinslet fic; MART, a D.Gray-man AllenxLenalee collab fic with Winter's Shadow Rune; and hopefully, to be able to write and post my first Digimon Taiora fic. I'm more for adventure and leaving romance it small bits. I used to enjoy shoujo but I'm the typical guy who wants action and fights and blah, blah, blah. I hope to also be able to write a HayatexMaria fanfic one day...though it's gonna take a miracle to make the references feel like you're reading a written version of the manga...

Harry Potter

HarryxHermione - No folks, I'm not a stupid ninny for liking this pair. Hell, if JKR had done a better job with pairings, I wouldn't mind HarryxGinny and RonxHermione but no matter what, I will always like HarryxHermione. One person could like a pair that just works out to be canon and yet also like a pair that will never have its chance at canon but still enjoy it because it has had hints that were way better than the canon pair. I'm one of those persons. Although, between you and me, between HarryxGinny and RonxHermione, the latter just doesn't seem right, no matter how much I look at it. The former...a bit. Fairy tales are nice but it's best to not push them onto the ideals of others.

Anyways, had H/Hr been the main pair, well, not only would most of the fans rejoice but it'd be pretty amusing to see what they go through. I mean, if you think about in these terms: Harry - famous for living through Voldy's Killing Curse yet has lived a pretty hectic and tough life and Hermione - best in her generation, hated by some for being non-pureblood. Oh forget it.
