Author has written 7 stories for ER, and Merlin.

Hi, well I guess it's about time that I put something down about myself!

As the detective-minded ones of you might have figured by now, I'm from Scotland. I'm 28 and work in social care (not social work, I hasten to add!) . I hope this helps to explain my erratic and inconsistent updating of stories as anyone who has spent their greatly-appreciated efforts following my fics will probably know - I work shifts :p

I'm currently in the throws of trying to find a more permanent abode where I can leave my stuff unpacked for at least 6 months although being a supposedly-responsible adult means that I should really be looking at horrible things like mortgages. sigh

Getting back to the subject in hand, I followed ER from the start, adoring the Doug/Carol ship, wishing for a Mark/Susan ship and bawling like a wean when Mark met his demise and Carter read his farewell letter sniffle not least, my friends and I also greatly enjoyed the non-slash Benton/Carter ship. After a sabbatical away from County when boredom kicked in slightly during the extreme Abby, Corday days, I eventually rediscovered ER and my personal fave ship of all - the roomies!

Probably for the same reason as every fic-er here, I only started writing so that I could have the ending (and many background stories) for Reela that the real writers wouldn't give us.

Other shows I enjoy/ed are the CSIs, though not so much Miami (I think it's cos David Caruso just looks so odd, I can't concentrate properly), Third Watch, Poirot amongst other detective stuff. Despite the laughter of my friends, I must confess to being a bit of a sucker for Diagnosis Murder - yes it's cheesy, corny and way OTT but I find it highly amusing and in a strange way, I also kinda care about the characters. Before you ask, I have absolutely no defence for this last one :)

When I'm not working or pottering around watching 'tec shows, I enjoy all things cookery and food/drink related and get together with my equally foodie-minded pal. To combat, the foodie-ness and prevent the need for me to be rolled out the door, I jog when the mood/necessity takes me!

Hope my babbling has been of some interest to you x
