Author has written 24 stories for Supernatural, Miles Vorkosigan, and Harry Potter. Mostly, I write/have written Supernatural fanfic, though you'll see an odd Vor Saga (and perhaps, eventually, Firefly) piece. Titles of pieces are proceeded by either SPN or VOR SAGA depending, for ease of use. Currently I'm writing a number of HP fanfics, though only one is up so far. Supernatural: I have two "'verses" going on at the moment, Courage 'Verse (mostly angsty) and Destiny 'Verse (intially intended to be schmoopy, but then Sam Winchester got at it - about half and half now). There is no correlation between the two, Destiny 'Verse is an AU beginning with the pilot; Courage is canon up until the end of Season 2. Occasional throw away lines will appear that draw a sort of line between the two, usually delibrately. The stories are about the same people, after all, in slightly different universes. Both universes have critical pieces that hang together: 1. Courage 'verse is made up mainly by 'It requires more courage' and its sequel 'Not simply one of the virtues' - but is supplemented by 'Surely heaven waits for you', 'No man is a hero to his valet', 'I know the difference' and 'Food, drink and shelter', each of which can be read as stand alone pieces rather than background to the larger verse. 'Surely heaven waits for you' and 'No man is a hero to his valet' are quite light pieces, a counterpoint of sorts to the darker verse. Courage 'verse is a Work In Progress. It's definately on hiatus, and may be reworked: I painted myself into a corner on this one. 2. Destiny 'verse is made up primarly of 'There is a destiny that makes us brothers' which varies from sometimes extreme schmoop to extreme angst; 'Moments of happiness' is a completely schmoopy series of stand alones that interrelate with the main Destiny story, but again, can be read alone. 'Through a mirror cracked' is dark fic, but if you are interested in the darker aspects of the Destiny story line, worth a look. As a stand alone, 'Through a mirror cracked' is possibly one of my better pieces. Destiny 'verse is COMPLETE. Each piece listed under a seperate title - whether part of a 'verse or not - can be read by itself. Some pieces are not part of either 'verse: 'Sympathy' is one example (though it could fit into either); 'Wolf Trilogy' (which could fit into neither) is another. Wolf Trilogy is the only Work In Progress that is not part of the Courage 'Verse. Not all of the pieces are equally good. My own favorites are 'Sympathy' and 'The lamps are going out'. Vor Saga: Both are standalone pieces, and are mostly canon compliant. 'Four Things' is a series of unrelated drabbles, and is entirely canon compliant. 'A little time yet' is Miles/Gregor and thus can't be seen as truly canon compliant, given that Miles' romances, successful and otherwise, are well documented. However, it is otherwise compliant. It takes place immediately after The Vor Game. Both are complete. Housekeeping: A word on wips and other things I, like probably everyone else, abhor unfinished Works in Progress. They're no fun for the reader, and they're no fun for the writer either. Unfortuanately, they do happen. There are three WIPS here - two belong to the Courage 'Verse (see above). Given the length of time since they were last updated, I have to face the reality that I may never finish them. However, I haven't yet abandoned them. If I do, I will simply take them down. I am sincerely sorry for the frustration this causes. 'Wolf Trilogy' is a standalone, and is more likely to be finished; ironically, it needs it less and can be read as-is. The first chapter was originally a one-shot. However, because of this situation, I will not be posting further WIPs, only completed stories (whether they be multichapters or not). Site updates happen periodically, and that sometimes destroy the formatting in the story. If you're reading a badly-formatted story, even if it's old, please feel free to PM me. I keep copies of the stories, and it would be the work of a moment to fix it, so don't feel shy about it. Lastly, two things: Comments are always appreciated, even on older stories. I promise I won't find it weird. More importantly, all though I do try to warn for things that should be warned for, I try to balance it against actually keeping some element of suspence in the story telling.
