~~ OFF HIATUS ~~
Heya. I'm not much of one to write about myself. Nothing much to say really. That's probably because I'm a fairly boring person leading a fairly boring life ;) If you're really interested check out my LiveJournal. I've never really been much of a writer, but I like to think that at the very least I can come up with interesting plots. Guess I'd probably make a better collaborator or beta than an actual writer...
I'll read just about anything, though I don’t do yaoi/slash. I’ve nothing against it; I just prefer not to read it. I'm mostly an Anime/Fantasy fan, but I'll read other stuff as well. I don't have as much free time as I used to so I’m trying to make sure I am using what little I have well :)
What I'm working on:
Simple Things: This one also hit me out of the blue the other day. I actually caved, thinking it would be a drabble, no more than maybe 2,000 words at the most (which is for me a drabble :D I tend to be very erm, verbose in my writing… Don't believe me? Check out F&G 50 chapters and over 200,000 words... and in serious need of being revised and rewritten I shudder at the earlier chapters each time I see them...) and started writing this one. I had maybe 6 pages before I realized what I was doing. This one is based on a sort of 'What if...' centered around Kakashi and what could happen if the way he views life changed subtly, mainly of the little things that can eventually add up to larger things :) This is KakaSaku of the non overly angsty variety. - In Progress
Calendar Craze: As of now this involves a lost bet, a narrow escape and media gold all contributing to a sneaky plan to get shinobi to actually visit the hospital when they are injured. I’ve decided that as much as it would solve a couple of problems I have with ST I can’t combine this fic with it. The variations of Kakashi and Sakura I will need to make it work don’t mesh with the variations I’m using for ST so this will have to be a fic of its own accord. - In Progress, will not be posted until ST is finished
Status:
Simple Things: I'm ashamed to admit that I am now at 160,000 words (I've added section breaks between the vignettes so page count is no longer particularly accurate, but there are roughly 300 pages if anyone is interested) and still adding. (For some reason I seem to find writing this fic relaxing.) So far there are about 30-34 distinct but mostly unfinished vignettes of varying length. I've decided to up my minimum posting length for chapters to at least 5,000 words. It is a cohesive fic, but is being posted in an episodic format so each chapter could if necessary be a stand alone one-shot. (I’ve probably left this original premise that all chapters could be one-shots behind at this point… but I’d like to cling to the illusion at least for a little longer…) :D
I'm now working on chapters twenty-five and twenty-six. I’ve sent twenty-two, twenty-three and twenty-four to the betas and hope to hear back soon. I’m also starting to wrap things up. I’m guessing maybe 30 to 32 chapters total when all is said and done. And, once I finish posting there will not be a sequel – this will be it, I’ll move on to other projects.
Calendar Craze: Rough outline, and the first couple pages of the first chapter written. One of my betas has convinced me that this is a fic that will be worth writing so I will start writing it more seriously once I’m done with Simple Things. :)

Fun & Games:
Commission Piece I had done ages ago of one of the last scenes. Posted on deviantArt.com Here.
Simple Things:
A very nice scene from chapter one posted on deviantArt.com by Yukie0907. Here.
This isn't fanart, I found it after writing Chapter Seven: Sick, but it goes very well with the scene though the artist posted this well before I posted chapter seven. Posted on deviantArt.com Here.
A fantastic commission piece of Chapter Eleven: Favor, entitled ‘Nice Catch’ and done by the wonderful fatpuppy posted on deviantArt.com. Here.
One-Shots:
A wonderful accompanying piece for my one shot 'Bedtime' entitled 'Lights out, kid' and done by the talented fatpuppy posted on deviantArt.com. Here.
Another fantastic accompanying piece! This one for 'How About Now?' It's also done by the wonderfully talented fatpuppy posted on deviantArt.com. Here.
A great piece inspired by 'Paths' named 'Sometimes it's the wolf' and done by the much too kind, Howling-wolf posted on deviantArt.com Here.
A beautiful piece, 'Apology' by paintbrushpluhi. This is the piece that inspired Rain.
KakaSaku One-Shots:
An Unexpected Visitor – Sometimes it is what is learned after the fact that makes an evening memorable.
Pickles – Cravings can lead to as much fun as trouble.
Prelude – On a sunny afternoon Sakura learns things aren't always as they seem.
Strings – No strings attached – the nature of a great number of relationships between shinobi. But just because it’s the way most shinobi handle their personal lives, doesn’t make it the best.
Lightning – Sometimes all it takes is a little reassurance.
Sunday Brunch – A Sunday brunch that would not soon be forgotten.
Bedtime – An unexpected situation interferes with Kakashi’s plans for the evening.
How About Now? – Patience may be a virtue, but sometimes persistence is just plain more practical.
Don't Go For The One – Even a bit tipsy Kakashi can be quick on his feet when presented with right the stimulus.
Extra Credit – Young Sakura manages to surprise her sensei with something unexpected.
In The Dog House – A chat at the pub might help Kakashi get back into Sakura’s apartment.
Right Equipment – Kakashi has some... persuading to do.
Festivals, Fireworks, and Fuzzies – Some memories are worth holding on to.
Paths – Fairytales don't always have the right endings.
Behind His Eyes – Solace can come from some of the most unlikeliest of sources.
Rain – Conclusions are things that should never be reached lightly.
Snow Blind – Sometimes a little isolation can be a good thing.
Laundry – Young Sakura runs into Kakashi where she least expects it.
Currently I am aiming for a tri-weekly update for Simple Things, in other words every third week. I will also continue to post my one-shots exclusively on The KakaSaku Fanfiction Archive. As always check my LiveJournal for updates and either here or there for links to my one-shots as I post them. :)
