I love books and good grammar. For all those of you who don't know: 'it's' is only used as a contraction of 'it' and 'is', never as a possessive. Weird and annoying, but true. 'You're' is a contraction of 'you' and 'are'. Everything else is 'your'. If you spot any of these in my writing, (or any other bad grammar) please let me know immediately so I can fix it.
Enough of the grammar rant. Terry Pratchett is brilliant. So is Tamora Pierce, Gerald Morris, Hilari Bell, and many others I can't think of at the moment.
The BEST AU of Gryffindor! Harry is Dangerverse (by whydoyouneedtoknow). The best AU of Slytherin! Harry is the Connor's Sacrifice universe (by Lightning on the Wave), though that's debatable--it might very well be Mistress Nika's Curse of Fate, which is brilliant. It only has one failing that I can see, and that failing's this: it's too short! Alright, I've re-read the Connor's Sacrifice series, and I've changed my mind--sorry, Mistress Nika, but the Connor's Sacrifice is better. Don't worry, though--Curse of Fate is still my third favourite fanfiction!
OFUM (the Official Fanfiction University of Middle-Earth) is amazing, as are all spin-offs.
