Author has written 6 stories for Shakespeare, Edgar Allan Poe, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Phantom of the Opera. Hello. You can call me Cecilia. I thought it might be appropriate to explain my pen name. If you haven't read Out of the Silent Planet or Perelandra by C.S. Lewis, you should. If you haven't read the third book in the trilogy, That Hideous Strength, I don't blame you, since I haven't made it past the second chapter. Anyway, Malacandra, better knows as Mars, is the planet that Ransom visits in the first book. Me: I am 17 years old, a Catholic, and a homeschooler, among other things. I am interested in music. I play piano and violin (poorly) and sing in my church choir. I plan on majoring in music education when I go to college. I am the kind of person that doesn't enjoy writing for school. In fact, English is my worst favorite subject, although I have been enjoying it more and more. I do enjoy writing creatively, and enjoy fan fiction, but I am the first to admit that my work is mediocre. I spend much more of my time reading than writing fanfic. My favorite stuff (because it's what everyone puts in their profile) Books/Authors - Jane Austen, C.S. Lewis, Shakespeare, Lord of the Rings, Phantom of the Opera, Inkheart, Watership Down, Gilbert and Sullivan, Twilight, Harry Potter, &c. TV Shows - Heroes, The Amazing Race Quotes: "Her passion for ancient edifices was next in degree to her passion for Henry Tilney -- and castles and abbeys made usually the charm of those reveries which his image did not fill." Jane Austen in Northanger Abbey. "A safety pin! Give me a safety-pin at once!"-- M. Moncharmin (Gaston Leroux - Phantom of the Opera.) So... enjoy reading my fan fiction (what there is of it) and don't forget to stop by and leave a comment, positive or negative. -Malacandra | |||||||
