There are so many things wrong with this mess, really, it's embarrassing. The last good thing that Kimimaro pulled out of his ass was Jiraiya's death. I hated him for a week for killing the Toad Hermit, before I realised that it was for the best. But The Great Creator(not) hasn't done anything worthy of note since. Sasuke being able to fight Itachi on an even - and even better - level, was just ridiculous.

(Bleach)

I was very pleased with this manga up until recently. The storyline's fucking awesome. Enough said. The whole thing is just amazing. Recent fights have started to sway my opinion however, the most provalent being Ichigo vs. Grimjow. It was just too fucking long. I thought it would never end.

One thing that I must point out though, is that people are dead wrong when they say if Kenpachi is able to kick the smiling bastard's (I forget his name) ass, then Ichigo - who was able to beat Kenpachi with Shinkai - should be able to just tear his head off. Think back people, Urahara said that it would take a few days to be able to send captain level Shinigami in without them losing a big chunk of their power. Ichigo and Co. rushed into there with a big hunk missing out of their power.

NBA:
(T-Mac vs. Kobe)

I just had to address this first.

Okay, I know, Kobe is the shit. I am a major fucking Kobe fan. I am also a big T-mac fan. I just can't stand it when people say dumb stuff like "Kobe totlly pwns Tmac" or "Tmac all da way! Kobe blows!"(I actually saw these when I was watching a few vids on youtube)

Okay, lets get to the issue.

People say Kobe's better because of his rings and his 82 points. Well, in my opinion, rings don't mean shit. You don't win the Championship with one person, it's a TEAM effort. He didn't win those rings, his team did. (In the case of D-wade and the Heat however...) Second, He scored those 82 points against the RAPTORS for Christ's sake. They have no defense to speak of. T-mac was able to score 62 in three quarters while he was with the magic, before the coach decided to put him on the bench. So that's a non-issue.

One thing that T-mac did that I do not think Kobe could do is Score 13 points in 33 seconds against a Championship Spurs team, along with great perimeter defenders like Bruce Bowen. Really, I almost shit when I saw that game.

Kobe is a much better defender than T-mac. Tracy goes up much harder in the lane. They both have their pluses. I would say Kobe is a better pure shooter and is much more consistent, though T-mac has his moments. Tracy is also a much better team player than Kobe, though the Lakers' recent game against Denver may say differently.

When you get down to it, I'd say they're damn near even.

(Melo vs. King James)

Another one that gets me.

People always say compare LBJ to Jordan, which is beyond silliness. I'm not even going to waste space on that subject. Now when you see Carmelo vs. LeBron, most people instinctively say "LeBron". But I am here to make you concider it before you say it.

Let's look at it.

Melo was the third youngest player in NBA history to reach 10,000 points. Kobe was first. LeBron was second. But what most people don't realize is that both Kobe and LBJ came from HIGHSCHOOL. Melo came from College. Another thing that people don't think about is that Carmelo actually acheived 10,000 in less games than LeBron. LeBron was just younger because he came from Highschool. (LBJ is actually 7 months younger than Melo)

Another thing, Carmelo averaged 25.7 points along with 7.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists, while LeBron's stats are slightly higher (30 ppg, 7.9 rpg, 4 apg), Carmelo has a great scorer like Allen Iverson to help him out, along with up-and-coming J.R. Smith. And with Camby 7"0 and Nene 6"10 down there to help, it's amazing in itself that he's able to snag 7 rebounds a game. He is also more proficient than LeBron beyond the three point arc at 35 percent (Lebron's is 30 percent).

Also, check out the FIBA world Championships last year. Carmelo was their best player, period.

So, people concider it.

(Lamar Odom)

Yes, I had to dedicate a corner of my profile to this poor guy.

Last year, nothing was really expected of Odom. He was one of the better SFs in the game, and just a solid, versatile player that could score, drive, and somewhat defend. But this year...

With the addition of Pau Gasol, expectations for Lamar have skyrocketed(Kobe also, but he's been in this situation before). Being the second option (In most people's minds third, but it's debatable) on a Championship expecting team is a pretty large upgrade from being a good player on a decent team.

He basically went from basically being a nobody to being what most people thought the deciding factor for a Laker's Championship.

Now before I get started let me say that Odom is a solid player, and could be one of the greats. He's a good shooter from the midrange and beyond the arc, and can be down-right explosive at the rim when he wants to be. He's quick for his size and has the length and speed to be an awesome defender. His ball handling and passing skills are almost unheard of (for his size) since Scotty Pippen's time.

Did I mention his height?

Just having him ON the court is a major intimidation factor. Seriously, how many teams can brag that they have two seven footers at PF and C, and then a 6"10 Small Forward? This guy is TALL.

That being said, he could be a great boost for this Laker's team in future years.

Now, he is somewhat streaky, and can make bad decisions when the game is on the line, but all of that can be cured with experience. With all the talk of trade, and people browbeating him about his inconsistency, probably isn't helping him with his self-esteem issues.

If the Phil Jackson is smart, he'll hold back this order of "Trade" and push Odom to work on his consistency this off season. What the man really needs is a little experience, he's never been in this situation before.

But the major factor that I think needs to happen for this Laker's team to progress...

Kobe. He needs to take a step down from his attention pedestal, and get to know his teammates. Granted, he does have a solid friendship with Derick Fisher, and seems to be on nice terms with Jason Farmar, but he really needs to get to know Pau and Odom this season.

If they want to beat the Celtic's next year, these guys need to become affiliated with each other. Boston's big three all have friendly relationships, and each has a managable ego.

The thing the Lakers need is for Kobe to drop this "Get a ring without Shaq" deal, and accept the fact that he needs teammates to accomplish this goal.

If this happens, I really think that Odom will feel less pressured, and we will all see an elevated level of play from this freakish SF, and (in turn) this team.

White Hair(WH): (in progress) Well, I'm working on the next chapter.. I've scratched about three 13 K plus word chapters because I didn't like them. I'm trying to get this next chapter right. There's a really difficult scene at the beggining thats giving me trouble. So anyway, expect a LARGE chapter. I hope it makes up for the wait. (Note: STILL looking for a beta, anyone know anyone that's decent and willing, send me a PM.)

Shinobi of the Rock(SotR): (in progress) Yes, I'm continuing it. Good news, I've just worked up some major inspiration, and I expect I'll be able to pump it out in about two to three weeks. I know it's been forever since I've updated, but rest assured, I have NOT abandoned it.

Inner Demons(ID): (in progress) This chapters nearly done. Sorry for fans of SotR and WH, those will be next. I know my updates are erratic, but sometimes inspiration strikes, sometimes it doesn't. I'm sorry to say that I cannot control that.

No Title: Just an FMA/Naruto Crossover I've been planning. Probably will take place in the Fullmetal world, and there will be a PLAUSABLE explanation for Naruto ending up there, unlike so many other crossover ideas. Anyway, keep an eye out for it.
