March 22 2011 - Still no answer from the site managers. I hope that means they are busy fixing the problem. And I'm not alone in being locked out either. So, I'm guessing there is a system-wide fault somewhere or someone has deliberately blocked all Doctor Who uploads. January 18 2011 - I have now reloaded all the DW stories I could save after the site host changed its font settings last year. (Note to host - please give us a bit of warning before you change the settings next time. It's taken me four months of work, including the loss of sixteen chapters and four entire stories. Thanks so much :\ ). I've had to do a bit of juggling, but I'm hoping this layout works better. Everything posted from today is either new work or new to the site. If you can't find something that you liked and want to read again, drop me a PM and I'll let you know what's happened to it. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the final chapters of Fractured.

November 16 2010 - A note before we start - I am not a woman! DO NOT call me sweetheart! That honour belongs to my wife, only my wife and no other. Secondly, I am a qualified geneticist. Don't even try to humour yourself that you know my field better than me (and several have tried). It's not even worth your time and my effort. Thirdly, I am possibly the oldest person on this site. My position at University is NOT as a student.

Bloke, married and separated, with kids, and grandkids. Nothing special, just goofing off between Uni and real life. Have a head full of ideas and a blank piece of paper - a lethal combination. Especially when a pen is added. New to this kind of thing. Let me know if I show myself up.

I'm a bit of a Sci-Fi geek. Anything to escape the reality of human life for a while. Coz let's face it, we are idiots when it comes to looking after ourselves, each other and the planet we live on.

February 7 2010 - I've taken a break from writing to wait for the new Doctor Who to start. New Era, peeps. Give Matt Smith a chance, OK? DT is still loved and still the best tenth Doctor there will ever be, but we know the character changes. It's a given. So let's give Mr. Smith a warm welcome, and do for his episodes what we have done for David's - that is rewrite them :D

November 12, 2008 - I have finally posted all seven indexes. Not all the stories are posted yet, so please be patient. Not all of them will be posted. Please check the status. If it says ACTIVE, it's already up or it will be posted at some point. That is unless FFN runs out of space, in which case I won't :D If it says DORMANT, it won't be posted. If it's REJECTED, it means it's unfinished for some reason. I might finish it, you never know.

As of November 4th 2008 I am writing a new novel for Doctor Who. Peeps have given me tremendous support over recent months and that's kept me going. Thank you. My latest story is possibly 10th Doctor, but it could be 11th. We shall have to see.

And another note - you can now find me on Bebo under my real name, zuleika_firousi, or type in TardisM7. There's not much on it at the moment, except my quirky sense of humour. Not many friends on it either. Unlike my daughter who has been on it forever and is on Nick Jonas' friends list. Sighs. And what I get? My daughter, her friend and my sister-in-law. I'm a dweeb. :\

1. Where's #1 on your top 8? A nice warn bed, 11:30 on a Sunday morning. Puurrfect

2. What is your favorite possession? Chocolate. I could say my kids and grandkids, but they aren't possessions.

3. Do you own a gun? Yes, I do. Its type is classified and locked away.

4. If you could tell your last ex something what would you say? I love you. I always will. And I would say that the previous ex too if he was still alive. What I would say to the men that killed him? Well, I'll leave that to your imagination.

5. Do you get nervous before doctor appointments? Let's see. I have cancer and a syndrome called Kleppel Feil that could kill me at any moment. If I get to the doctor's it's an achievement. But yes, I'm always nervous.

7. What's your favorite Christmas song? O Holy Night, sung by Il Divo. Silent Night, sung in German by a children's choir. As a rule I don't enjoy listening to children singing, but that's one exception I'll make.

8. What do you prefer to drink in the morning? Ice cold milk or water from the fridge, or fresh fruit juice. I'm allergic to caffeine so I have to avoid hot drinks.

9. Can you do a push up? Well, it's been a while, but sitting up from lying down is about my limit these days. I can push up my t-shirt. Does that count?

10. Is your bathroom clean? Spotless. You could eat your dinner in there. Eww, perhaps not.

11. What's your favorite piece of jewelry? My wedding rings. I have three and they are all very special.

12. Do you take painkillers? I have to.

13. What is your secret weapon to lure in the opposite sex? Well, if I told you it wouldn't be a secret, would it?

14. Do you have A.D.D.? (Attention Deficit Disorder) My son has ADHD, which is genetic and only affects boys. There needs to be more research into both disorders, better treatment and a better care system in place for families and sufferers.

15. What's your name? Zuleika. Yep, it's unusual. But I'm an unusual sort of guy.

22. How did you bring in the New Year? I was asleep, until the little snit - I mean son of my neighbour ran down the street yelling Happy New Year for an hour and a half. And I had to be up at four. Ggggrrr.

26. Favorite color(s)? All of them. I'm colour blind - I have deuteronopia - so the more blue tones the merrier. FF.net is just so lush these days.

27. Are you gay? Well, there's a thing. If you're dual-gendered can you be in love with someone of the opposite sex?

28. Do you sing in the shower? Nope. England is far too cold to linger in the skud. Go in, wash and go. That's me.

29. What did you fear was going to get you at night as a child? A very nice man called Stephen Moffat kindly reminded me of all my childhood fears by making them into DW episodes. I'll get you at playtime for that, Moff!

30. Best bed sheets as a child? Mine were all striped. They were in those days. Where would we be without the Co-op, eh?

31. Worst injury you've ever had? I was hit by a car once. But I've also been hit in the head with a rock, which caused massive trauma. The hole never healed. It's still there. I've had strokes and I've been shot, stabbed and almost blown up. But that's nothing compared to being dumped.

32. Who is your loudest friend? I have many friends, but none of them are as loud as my 13 year-old-son.

34. Does someone have a crush on you? If they do, I haven't heard about it.

35. Do you wish on shooting stars? I don't see the point. They're just bits of rock burning up in the atmosphere.

36. What is your favorite candy? Mars bars - the English ones. Don't try the American chocolate. Seriously - don't. They think they have the best in the world, but it's awful stuff. It's like grit. Except huckleberry chocolate. I used to get sent to me from Montana. Can't get it here.

38. What song(s) do you want played at your funeral? Another One Bites the Dust - Queen. This one was RDA's suggestion. I like it. I'm keeping this in. That song is awsome and my family would see the relevance.

Obsolete IDs include Zuleika Firousi, S. De Fluke (dual authorship (see below)), Clandestine Miscreants and In Memorandum; to name but a few. I have used many names, sign-ins, pseudonyms and covers to protect my true identity. Please respect that I am a person with feelings and rights to privacy and safety.

Dual Authorshipstories posted under the ID Susan de-Fluke were written by my aunt (it's her name) and typed up and/or finished by me. She was an exceptional writer who died young and I edited, typed up or finished a fair amount of her work from around January 2002 until her death in January 2003. Her work before this date is not included. I was granted permission to use her name as a penname (still used today) and finished some of the outstanding stories after her death. She offered to put my name on the ones I worked on, but I turned it down. They were her ideas after all, I was only the typist, but I thought I'd explain the ID overlap. When she died, she entrusted me with all her work.

Categories

Canon: does not drift from the original story at the time the story was set. They are based on ‘extra’ events alluded to or mentioned in the original. Book-verse: where the source is a book, and there is more than one version, and is canon. Movie-verse: where the source is a movie, and there is more than one version, and is canon. A/U: alternate universe; a story that drifts from the original timeline. Non-canon: where there is more than one universes and it fits into none of them.

Author's note: This was my last story posted on F.F.N. as Zuleika Firousi, before I was unjustly banned, without due reason or the right to appeal. Was ordered to remove my work from FFN half way through posting this story. No sexual contact; just two adults talking about love, friendship and understanding. Pointless and stupid, but there we are. The moderators are god, All Hale... Or Hail, whichever.
