Writing and Artistic Influences
The book "House of Leaves" is a total mind fk that leaves you pondering even the most simplistic of things and questioning how and why things can be possible. Stephen King really gets my juices flowing; he writes in a realistic and mildly over-the-top fashion. John Buscema, R.I.P., makes my heart pound with his breathtaking panels and gorgeous landscapes. H.P. Lovecraft leaves me breathless as do: Hideyuki Kikuchi, Akira Toriyama, Eiichiro Oda, Peter Chung, Jim Lee, Jimmy Cummings (My cousin! Not the one who invented a famous cartoon, our Jimmy actually illustrates for Marvel. He got me started with this darned graphite obsession o' mine!), Bob McLeod, Jack Kirby, Mike Mignola, Frank Miller and many, many, MANY others!
Why I Write
I'm getting sick of all of those girls who place themselves in the role of one of the characters, then warps their personality to fit their own little, devious thoughts. If you want to do that, THEN CREATE A FANON CHARACTER! Oy! -thwacks head on desk- Y'see, this is why I have headaches! I also write, well, because I love to. I draw more, but hey, you gotta have a distraction once in a while. Really, I just dabble, so you know. . .
Mary Sue
Nothing wrong with them! Well, there is something wrong with them, but if that's what you're aiming for . . . CREATE YOUR OWN! Don't turn an canon character into your own little robo-Sue. If you're going to degrade someone, might as well start from scratch! That's what I always do!_!
