Author has written 12 stories for Song of the Lioness, Misc. Books, A Separate Peace, and Shakespeare.

Hi, there. I'm a 17-year-old who loves to read, especially when there's a new chapter up here from one of my favorite authors.

I'm also a spaz. Any of my friends can tell you that.

I am an original writer under the name of Hawkflame on fictionpress.net SO anyone who would like to read the first of a series of short faerie tales should go there and find me.

I am ALSO part of a round-robin group that does fanfiction. Go and read Eldorne's Atonement by Group Askew, a group of Tammy fanfic writers. It is quite a good story, I think, and we are finally getting into the real plot! So, if you like my writing, you should defintely look us up!

I have finished my two "long-length" fics, The Jaguar Goddess and the accompaniment, Yama's Festival. The sequel to the two is just beginning.

My interests, besides reading and writing, include sports, cosmology, and architecture... so I'm pretty much all over the place.

Fav (Published) Authors (You can check my fanfic authors below)

Diane Duane, Libba Bray, Tamora Pierce, Susan Kay, Sherwood Smith, Brian Jacques, Stephanie Meyer, and a lot of other people. A lot of other people.

Most Favorite Quotes of All Time:

"You're in de Nile. I hope you can swim." -a friend

"I was babysitting a six month year old..." - me

"Dear lord, please give me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I had to kill because they annoyed me."

"Isn't it funny how the word 'politics' is made up of the words 'poli' meaning 'many' in Latin, and 'tics' as in 'bloodsucking creatures’?"

"I'm not telling you (what your birthday present is)- I'm talking to myself and you're eavesdropping." -my little sister

"US Marines! Drop those bananas!" -Escape by Gordon Korman

"He was stupid. If I killed everyone who was stupid, I wouldn't have enough time to sleep." -Alanna, in In the Hand of the Goddess by Tamora Pierce

Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyer:

“And speaking of Italy and sports cars that I stole there, you still owe me a yellow Porsche.” -Alice Cullen

“I’m really glad Edward didn’t kill you. Everything’s so much more fun with you around.” -Emmett Cullen

“This hostage stuff is fun.” -Alice Cullen

“Fall down again, Bella?” -Emmett Cullen

“Did you seriously just stamp your foot? I thought girls only did that on TV.” -Jacob Black

“I was just wondering why you stabbed him. Not that I object.” -Edward Cullen

“The right thing isn’t always real obvious. Sometimes the right thing for one person is the wrong thing for someone else. So…good luck figuring that out.” - Charlie Swan

Trickster's Queen by Tamora Pierce:

"I like playing servant, dearie... People think you're furniture. They hardly notice. You can have all kinds of fun without them realizing who's doing it, but you already know that. I love to see their little lives collapse in flames. It's even more amusing when they start blaming each other when things go wrong." -Graveyard Hag, Goddess of Carthak

Protector of the Small Quartet by Tamora Pierce:

"Tilt with Lord Raoul? Why don't I just lie down in front of an elephant and let him step on me? I bet it feels the same." -Neal, in Squire

"Begging my lord's pardon, but you are a bad man." -Kel, in Squire

"When people say a knight's job is all glory, I laugh, and laugh, and laugh. Sometimes I can stop laughing before they edge away and start talking about soothing drinks." - Raoul, in Lady Knight

"I've said it before, and I'll say it again, my lord. You are a bad man." -Kel, in Squire

"The king's decided that First Company of the King's Own had been at court too long and needs to remember why they wear the pretty mail." -Raoul, in Squire

"Didn't anybody tell you a palace is like a sieve? ... If people stopped talking around here, the walls would fall in. There'd be no wind to hold them up." -Raoul, in Page

"I hope he manages you with a whip and chain, like a wild animal in a show." -Neal, in Page

"You do realize we should all be put in a nice, cozy room somewhere with muscular people to keep us from harming ourselves?" - Neal, in Lady Knight

"A good friend will come by and bail you out of jail. A best friend would be the one sitting next to you in the cell, saying 'Damn, that was fun!'"

Fav Singers:

Celtic Woman, Josh Grobin, Andrea Bocelli, Sarah McLaughin, Sophie Hawkins, Cranberries, Enya... the list goes on and on.

Fav Movies:

Narnia, Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, and... um... I'll get back to you on that... I gotta think...

Fav TV Shows:

I watch three, only two of which are actually on TV now- Ghostwhisper and Legend of the Seeker.

The other, my absolute fav, is Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Buffy kicks butt. Literally. OH! And I also love Doctor Who, which is AMAZING.

Fav Plays:

Wicked, Phantom, Les Miserables

And I put all of this up for the benefit (perhaps amusement) of my friends. My hat off to you, Mage Firestorm and KyrieofAccender. You've corrupted me at last.

My name is Chris.

I am three,

My eyes are swollen

I cannot see,

I must be stupid

I must be bad,

What else could have made

My daddy so mad?

I wish I were better

I wish I weren't ugly,

Then maybe my mommy

Would still want to hug me.

I can't do a wrong

I can't speak at all

Or else I'm locked up

All day long.

When I'm awake I'm all alone

The house is dark

My folks aren't home

When my mommy does come home

I'll try and be nice,

So maybe i'll just get

One whipping tonight.

I just heard a car

My daddy is back

From Charlie's bar.

I hear him curse

My name is called

I press myself

Against the wall

I try to hide

From his evil eyes

I'm so afraid now

I'm starting to cry

He finds me weeping

Calls me ugly words,

He says its my fault

He suffers at work.

He slaps and hits me

And yells at me more,

I finally get free

And run to the door

He's already locked it

And i start to bawl,

He takes me and throws me

Against the hard wall

I fall to the floor

With my bones nearly broken,

And my daddy continues

With more bad words spoken,

"I'm sorry!", I scream

But its now much to late

His face has been twisted

Into a unimaginable shape

The hurt and the pain

Again and again

O please God, have mercy!

O please let it end!

And he finally stops

And heads for the door

While i lay there motionless

Brawled on the floor

My name is Chris

I am three,

Tonight my daddy

Murdered me.
