| Mazkeraide |
Author has written 8 stories for Tad Williams, Supernatural, Fairy Tales, and Dragonlance. Hey Hey Hey. I'm Mazkeraide, but you can also call me Mazzie or, if you're really daring, the/le Maz. This here's my profile for FF.net. Favorite TV Shows: House, Heroes, Gossip Girl, Reaper, Law and Order, SVU, America's Next Top Model, Smallville, Supernatural, The Office, 30 Rock, Scrubs, Dollhouse, The Real Housewives of Orange County, The Real Housewives of New York, The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Project Runway, The Middleman, Arrested Development, Aliens in America, and Avatar: The Last Airbender. Favorite Books: Authors: Patricia McKillip, Sarah Dessen, Jodi Picoult, and Tad Williams. Series: Harry Potter, although book 7 was horrid; Twilight, although Breaking Dawn was horrid; The Lord of the Rings; Artemis Fowl, although the last several books have been horrid; and Pendragon, which are still good as far as I'm concerned. Favorite Movies: My new absolute most favorite movie EVER is The Fall. If you haven't seen it, see it. It's absolutely amazing. I'm also a fan of Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, You Can't Take It with You, It Happened One Night, Mr. Deeds Goes to Town, Gone with the Wind, and The Wizard of Oz, as far as old movies go. As for musicals, My Fair Lady, West Side Story, The Phantom of the Opera, Sweeney Todd, Rent, and Across the Universe. I also like chicklets like 13 Going on 30, The Devil Wears Prada, John Tucker Must Die, The Lakehouse, and The Notebook, among others. Jet Li's Hero got me into costume symbolism, and it's an amazing movie. I also liked Memoirs of a Geisha and the Lord of the Rings movies. (Harry Potter's weren't as good. They're just not consistent enough). In animated movies, I love Beauty and the Beast and its Christmas version (haha), also The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, The Lion King II: Simba's Pride (I had a crush on Kovu. I don't know about you), Balto (ditto), Ratatouille, Wall-E (possibly my new favorite movie, I liked it that much), Happy Feet, Finding Nemo, Monsters, Inc., Toy Story and Toy Story II, A Bug's Life (essentially, all the Pixar films), and The Last Unicorn. Favorite Music: Ludo. Is amazing. Also Juanes and French covers of American songs. I also like Boys Like Girls, Mayday Parade, and Britney Spears. She's amazing. Don't argue. Webcomics: No Rest for the Wicked, Questionable Content, xkcd, Thunderstruck, The Dreamer, Xylia, The Phoenix Requiem, Earthsong, Left-Handed Toons by Right-Handed People, ChainSawSuit, Cyanide and Happiness, Penny and Aggie, The Red String, and Vampirates. My Stories In Progress: A Promise of Peace- Isabella simply will not marry Teren Thundergrad, no matter what her parents say. She loves Gavin, after all! Meanwhile, Arija and her sisters are tempted by promises of glorious futures, and what on earth is going on with King Reynold? A conglomeration of fairy tales. Jorinda and Jorindel- He was a simple sheperd. She was the most beautiful girl in town. Now she's been cursed by an evil witch and he's her only hope of survival. Completed: Supernatural Angst- a Supernatural oneshot. One night as I was going to bed I realized how perfectly Potter Puppet Pals' Wizard Angst fit Supernatural characters. The next day I wrote this with my sister. Personally I think it's hilarious. Check it out if you're a Supernatural fan or if you just love a good laugh. Thou, O Queen- a oneshot based on Snow White. Although Snowdrop has found her prince, the evil queen is still at large. Can she still have her happy ending? Glass- when a selfish prince makes a bad decision, he dooms not only himself but his entire staff. Years later, a young woman cursed by the same spell comes to the castle to save him. Will she be able to break the spell? Working title only- message me with a better one if you've got it. I love reviews and this one's kind of my baby, so give me all your love. On Hiatus: Efiathe's Champion- a fanfiction of Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn trilogy by Tad Williams. It tells the story of Ebekah and Camaris. Takes place before The Dragonbone Chair, as in like forty to fifty years before. SPOILERS for To Green Angel Tower, which technically means the whole trilogy I suppose. So if you haven't read it, don't read this. I feel so bad that I abandoned this pair in the midst of their epic romance, but even if I do update again, it won't be until the whole thing has had a major revamp. I'll probably start work shortly after I finish Glass. Tas Saves Yule- apparently I am only going to update this once a year. A humorous Christmas story, putting Dragonlance characters into Elmo Saves Christmas. Forthcoming: This summer I plan to publish several shorter fairy tales that are in the works. The ones I have so far are "The Haughty Princess", "The Little Mermaid", "Cinderella", another "Beauty and the Beast", and a fairy tale of my own creation.
"Thrown together with her teething, wailing, babbling cousins, she and Axis performed the ancient ritual of flinging their toys at one another's heads, and in that moment recognized a common destiny." - Patricia A. McKillip, Alphabet of Thorn. (best sentence ever) "I wanted to tell her that sometimes, in my long sleep, I dreamt of her." -Raistlin Majere "Lady Crysania isn't crazy, she's in love." -Tika Waylan Majere (I'm a fan of the Majeres lol) "Caramon, make me my tea! I feel nauseous!" -Raistlin Majere (again) "Take down your Christmas decorations after New Year's, or you might get fileted by a hooker from God." -Dean Winchester Me: (reading the back of a sugar packet at Friday's) What would you do if you knew no fear? "Sometimes me think, what is friend? Then me think, friend is what last cookie is for." -Cookie Monster "Cogemos en mi coche?" Primus: You killed the bishop! "You have magical pee. Why wouldn't I be friends with you?" - Maddie News: December 22, 2008- I've finally updated Tas Saves Yule! It should be finished by/shortly after Christmas...R&RSVP. Glass has also been named Story of the Week by SIRSRDR. Check it out! http://www.freewebs.com/sirsrdr/stories.htm October 15, 2008- I've posted a new story, A Promise of Peace. Please read and review! October 12, 2008- I've finished Glass! November 23, 2007- I've added a poll and the link is at the top of the page. Please vote if you've read Glass and you have a definitive opinion! I want all my readers to let me know what they think. So yeah. December 23, 2007- the poll is now closed, and the overwhelming (of the maybe seven people who voted) majority went to Bastien. Not that this influences my decision at all...but you'll just have to see how it turns out. February 29, 2008- I've got another poll up, again for Glass, and I request votes! July 10, 2008- I've put the old poll back on my profile page, so if you didn't get a chance to vote, now's the time. I also posted a new story, Thou, O Queen. For a summary, see above or just read it. It's a oneshot. 97.6 of all people are bossy. Put this in your profile if you hate being told what to do. Now that you know about me (kind of) you can read my stuff. Or, if you're here because you read my stuff and wanted to check me out, you can read my other stuff! I don't really care, as long as I get reviews, upon which I thrive. R&R s'il vous plait | |||||||||||
