Holy cow, I haven't updated my info in five years. Yikes.

Well, my name is Ryan Hearton. My friends call me "Herton" after someone accidentally dropped the A, so that's where my pen name comes from. I'm 18 years old, and I live in a picturesque little town called Penn Yan, New York. Male, obviously, but I'll let you in on a dark secret: My favorite genre, both to read and write, is romance.

I have a long list of favorite fandoms, too long to list here. But I plan to have written at least story for at least half those by the end of next year. I can't stand taking longer than a few days to update, so I try to do it promptly.

My non-writing/reading pasttimes are a long list, but I'll give you the abridged version: video games (I own an X360 & a PS3) are a big one. Then there's my music career, I write, produce, play piano, and sing. And occasionally rap, too (more frequently lately as there has been more interest in that genre around here). I have been known to dabble as an actor in High School theater, and I also acted in my buddy's independent film last year. Other than the aforementioned stuff, my time is divided between looking for a job, and hanging out with my friends.

Although just looking at my "views" counter makes me feel good, reviews are like food to a starving man for me. I haven't exactly been diligent about reviewing people's work myself, but I am trying to rectify that now that I am on the other side of the Author/Reader equation.
