!UPDATE! New for 07-22-08: Greetings and salutations from Dallas, TX. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: My muse has fled for the time being, so I'm formally announcing that all works are hereby suspended. The more I try to get 'em done, the less fun I have writing them and thus the less I want to work on them. Yes, I will still poke at them until the muse flows forth. Posted a compilation of my songfics to organize them. Sure, all one chapter but that's all that my mind will let me do for the time being. I do have some ideas that I'm floating in an attempt to jump start my muse.
Rose, if you check my profile from time to time this message is for you: I'm working on a fic that I pulled, retooling it. Three guesses as to which one and I'm doin' it just for you.
You want an idea of where I've been? There are only five states that I've yet to go to: The Dakotas, Montana, Vermont or Maine.
One thing that would greatly help me people is feedback. To keep the spammers at bay, I had to ban anonymous reviews. So stop being lazy and tell me what you think, just be clean about it.
Speaking of feedback, I had a not-so-nice review about Shared Trouble. I'm just doing what I can to ignore people like that, as those that DON'T review are the ones that don't like it. That user is also now banned from ever reviewing one of my fics. Consider this a fair (and ONLY) warning about not being nice in the reviews.
FYI, I use the http://www.xe.com/ucc/, conversion site to ease (or increase) the confusion on Yen to Dollar amounts. The site adjusts for markets in both countries.
For ViaD, I used http://world.guns.ru/main-e.htm. Site doesn't have the best spelling (how odd), however their selection of information is spectacular. The newest stuff I heard about on FutureWeapons (I love the Discovery Channel!).
However, the rule still applies: if you can't tell me something I don't know, DO NOT BOTHER.
I know I am not the best writer out there . . . if I was, I'd retire from truck driving to write novels that I'd actually get paid for. Plain and Simple.
