Author has written 18 stories for Harry Potter. newer update for newer readers and older friends Hey guys. So I'm kind of testing out the waters a bit now that I have a vacation from school. Ringing in the new year with one of my resolutions to pick up writing again, even if it's just a drabble or a one shot here or there. I also have one to get caught up on reviews, but that's going to be a gradual accomplishment :). So basically my method now is to prune my work here, which includes deleting some of the more embarrassing stuff from a rough start (one day to celebrate--ugh what was i thinking!). Also I took all of the crap off of my profile. None of was related to what I'm posting on this website. Another thing I have discovered is that particularly accurate and well thought out fics with plausible plots are the most enjoyable. I have taken to rereading the series with a notebook handy so as to make notes as I go. It's quite inspiring going straight off the text. I may also eventually (probably tonight..this morning?) attempt to delve back into the forums. Mainly to check up on everyone :). So please bare with me on this excursion back into fanfic. I sure missed it :). update for new readers and old friends Between summer jobs and boyfriends and friends and little sisters, it has been quite difficult for me to revive my appearance around ff.net. Though I have tried and failed several times, I do not believe I will be able to pop in quite as regularly as I once did. Of course this means I cannot write or review as much as I did either. However I have not forgotten my friends at the Review Lounge (Cuba or Fray or Lexxi H or Dizzi or Cupid, these are only the names that came to mind at the moment, for there are so many more of you) and miss you all terribly. I will try to check in the forums to see how all of you have been doing, and more often than it is reasonable to hope. I deleted all of the updates in my inbox...once it passed 900 the task was just too daunting, and I apologize. For new readers this might mean that I won't review reply as vigorously as I did. This does not mean I don't appreciate your feedback, and it still makes my day when I get the notification. So thank you very much, I am honored that you took the time to read my stories. Upcomingish Stuff -A Hero’s Death (Molly-centric oneshot for Bad Mum as a very late bday present)--I'm actually still going to try to do this I think -Bread and Circuses (a history lesson inspired fic, actually. centered around scrimgeour and fudge at the beginning of the second war) -Chapter Two of Black as He's Painted (a joint project between Cuban Sombrero Gal and myself centered around one Mr. Sirius Black)--oh jeez. I'm a terrible person About Author The Author is lazy. She isn't good about updating chapter stories, and usually gives up halfway through planning them. She loves reviewing almost as much as having her work reviewed. She loves Marauder-Era and is particularly fascinated with exploring Rowling's themes by manipulating her characters. Hence the characters not being to fond of the crap the author puts them through. But that's okay, we're going to therapy over it. She doesn't promise to be perfect, and would actually prefer if she never got a review saying so. She puts her stuff on here to be critiqued and has absolutely no problem throwing things back on the drawing board if advised to do so. She is also prone to tossing out pieces less than perfect...but also a bit of a packrat when it comes to stuff she really had fun writing, or has redeeming qualities. About The Fanfictions I will mostly write about: Sirius Black, James Potter, Lily Potter, Peter Pettigrew, Remus Lupin, Severus Snape and Dora Lupin. Newest obsession: Dumbledore. His flawed righteousness is hilarious :D. I will mostly read about: Any of the aforementioned characters along with, Regulus Black, Bellatrix Black, Barty Crouch Jr., or any other random character that people choose to depict.
