I've learned that if you have a definite end in mind, the story will drive you to completion. Starting one out just to see where it goes is a lot harder, IMHO. And those seem to be the ones that are unfinished on fanfic, sometimes to my great disappointment. I started writing these stories in 2007--I cannot believe so much time has passed. I started out just wanting to get the stupid images out of my head--images I'm sure so many He-Man fans have had, of his family's and friend's reactions when they finally learn the truth. I had never finished any of the three or so novels that I had started earlier in my life, and had no reason to believe I would finish one of these, never mind so many. But once I started posting, I was hooked, because people were enjoying my stories. Then God started weaving things into my stories that I never would have dreamed about--it made it seem like I had this all planned from the beginning, and I didn't. God did. He is so awesome it astounds me.
