Okay, okay, I've always wanted to use that somewhere. Whatever. You can already tell by my super-cool Optimus Prime icon that I'm a super-nerd, just leave me to dork around in peace!

My name is Allison, aka kettish, and I like writing. I like writing short stories, more specifically, almost always inspired by events that take place in my own life. I have authored three stories to date: "The Gentleman" and "Hollow Victory," KH Sora/Riku stories, and "Purple Dusk," a RuroKen ficlet. I do not believe homosexuality to be right, according to my Christian beliefs, but nor do I condemn those who are; God said love thy neighbor, so I'm gonna try. As for why I will write fics with yaoi pairings-I'm a writer, and as such, I write. I do not believe that our choices of writing should be constricted only to that which we love; instead, we should also reflect on the nature of those things that we do not appreciate, or dislike. Writing is the embellishment of human nature.

Plus...it's hot.

I have graduated high school, joined the military, gotten my EMT-B and completed combat medic training, been disabled, been discharged, gotten married, gotten a dog, and been accepted to start college this fall. All in the span of a year's time. It's been a full year, and honestly, I wouldn't trade a minute of it for the world. I know foster dogs for a local shelter group and am trying to get some money together to go to veterinarian's school.

My husband is the sexiest man alive. Dark features, and the most beautiful Indian brown eyes I've ever had the privilege to behold, along with a caring and loving nature define my Vince. (He also loves working out. Oh yeah.) We met in medic training and it was love at first sight. For me. He had to have a second sight as he was very drunk and couldn't quite remember the first. X3

I support our troops in Iraq. My husband, his best friend, and several very close friends of mine are deployed in a warzone right now protecting the rest of us back here State-side. Whether you support the war they're in or the political motivations for it or not, please understand that the soldier fights for the people he left back home. I have blonde hair, blue-grey eyes, a medium-small athletic body build, and active personality and mind, and insomnia. Also I walk with a cane (edit: no more! woo!). Four piercings in my ears, one tattoo of a plumeria flower on my left shoulder blade. I wear three rings: the one I bought at the Riverwalk in San Antonio on Vince's and mine's first date (oh my grammar), and my wedding set. My hair is usually in a ponytail, and I have an odd fascination with heavy weaponry and fishnet. Go figure how I didn't get married sooner. XD I'm a raving insomniac that generally doesn't get to bed until 0700 or 0800 most days.
