Away from the World

Anyways, I've been gone for a good long time now, with no posts to speak of. I have not even worked on the sotries while I have been away, but I do have good news. When school starts back up again, I'll be taking a college Creative Writing class, and during that time I'll do my best to write a few things for this site.
As of now I have stayed at home all summer, playing SecondLife, Guitar Hero 3, Mechwarrior 4, more SecondLife, and a hell of a lot of Unreal Tournament 2004. Well, I have to say it's been a great vacation, but I can't forget all of my friends up here in the FanFiction site. Or the one or two I know over on the other site, FictionPress.
Alright, my schedule is pretty f-ed up right now, so don't expect anything fancy for a bit. Well...maybe the debut of my original RP on this site, but that isn't story-related is it? I know what you are waiting for; mostly Broken/Connected, From the Ashes, Metroid FISSION, The Cyrosyl Theory, and ALIENS: Extinction. Yeah. All of those.
And...I might actually finish Extinction. Maybe. I don't think I like that story any more, other than Calnol. He's been pissing me off lately for not giving him a place someone. He likes to wreck futures, but he'll have to wait until the 'The Rift Wars' comes out. Oh? Did I mention that? Yeah, I will be sorta doing something with some of the Rift War storyline (minus all fanfic chars and such). Basically a Rift opens and Calnol starts doing his thing, and a currently unnamed character will do basically what Eragon has been doing; following the bastard around all over the place and trying to kill him.
I liked the idea of The Rift Wars...I just never liked how i write it. Maybe I'll redo it, or maybe I'll just scrap the whole thing and go back to putting out three chapters a day and one story a week. Maybe I should do a poll on that.
That's about it for now. I'm going to go play some more UT2K4, so I hope you miss me this time. If you don't I'll be at your house with a Shock Rifle and Redeemer before you can say 'Holy shit, what's your problem?!'.

MAJOR EDIT: So yeah, both of those eggs died, but fortunately I got three more. Somehow. Same thing, click them and they should hatch. Should being the key word there.

Story Removal
Well, I am considering removing a few of my Eragon stories so that i don't have to worry about them any more. Mostly Draco High...what was I thinking with that one? Oh well...maybe the one called Cruelty of Fate? I would like some input on this, so I know which ones to remove.
Also, thanks to a screw-up on my part, ALL of my writing has been deleted from my flash drive. ALL of it. Every word is gone. THANK GOD I HAD A BACKUP! Though the backup was made a week ago, it still lets me get back on track. Like I said, I need some input, no matter WHAT it is! I might be working on Manin, Wyrda, Hugin a bit, after I get this part from Family Ties uploaded. Yeah, you heard right...the Worldmaker is back on Eragon fiction!
When the new book comes out, expect me to make LOTS of new updates, in an effort to include new happenings, and also to start a few new (damnit, he's at it again) fics after the events of Brisingr.

POLL RESULTS
Alright, it seems the most-liked character is Spine. No big surprise for me, really. Spine is pretty cool, I like him too. Here is where I'm lost though...Mikah? People actually like Mikah? Hmm...I have to consider what is likable about him. Spine is easy to see; he's sarcastic, he's sort of an ass when he wants to be, he can kick the shit out of practically anything that moves or doesn't move whenever he feels like it, and to top it all off he's an alien with not one, but TWO sets of razor-sharp teeth. Mikah? He's a Private in the U.S. Army who can understand raptor language and has a problem with his DNA being mutated into that of a raptor's.
Hmm...something for me to contemplate this weekend while I'm on vacation.
Next line of business: I rather like the characters Ios, Kat, Jared, and Abyss. The second through last ones being the ones I may continue with in something else. Kat and Jared have that typical sibling love-hate relationship going, and I barely even tried to establish that one. They are just...great! Abyss is the sort of person that you end up hating at first for the lack of self-confidence, but eventually you learn to see her side of the coin.
Of course, if they continue I would have to change some species! Ios is the most important...Xenomorph has got to go. Kat is easy; she stays human. Jared...maybe he could stay a dragon? Dragons are present in lots of stories, though I'm not sure how I can include him...maybe I should just have him end up in the Ios situation of being another species, but originally have been human. And finally Abyss...she of course can remain a banshee, but her physical form will have to change. Maybe humanoid? Maybe not...that will be something else to think about.
Next thing! My normal computer has a virus on it! Nasty, huh? It turns out it is the W32.Alcra.F virus, a worm that spreads through file-sharing programs. It is a terrible thing...this one shuts down my comp thirty minutes after it starts. So that said, please bear with me on lack of updates...I am going to be hunting this thing down and join blades with it in epic cyber battle! I will slay the demon that has stolen my net time!
In other news, I want those of you that like Eragon to stop by a friend's RP site and join in. I'm trying to help get it up and running, and the best way i can do that is by telling people to join in. Here's the link to it, and have a safe April Fool's Day.
