I’m generally more of a Reviewer than a Writer, but I was bitten by the “writing bug” recently, so here I am attempting to write. I absolutely love AU's and comedies both as a Reviewer and as a Writer.
I'm currently working on the following stories:
1) The Foundling - (Romance and Drama) set in the ancient magical walled city of Li-Cheng in the golden ages of the Celestial Empire. It's my version of a "fairy tale". Pairings: S&S (of course!); E&T
2) Technology is Magic! - (Comedy) set in the distant future, my first CCS and TRC "cross-over". Our beloved characters are young adults and high-powered executives of a large cutting-edge high-tech corporation led by their CEO, Clow Reed. (No magic here but the Cards are the company's high tech "products".)
It's a screwball look at office life. Pairings: S&S (of course!); E&T, Touya&Nakuru, Takashi&Chiharu, Yoshiyuki&Rikka. With active roles for Yelan and her four daughters, Madoushi (Su Yung) and Fei Wong (I removed the Reed), Fai Fluorite and Kurogane. This is kind of my personal tribute to CCS and TRC because almost all the characters are mentioned or have a part.
3) Here Comes the Bride (Comedy)-- my second CCS and TRC "cross-over". It's all about engagements, weddings, wrong career choices, second chances, stag parties and bridal showers--set in the present time. Syaoran and Eriol are male wedding planners--no, they're not gay! Sakura is a charming pediatric dentist and Tomoyo is a struggling toy designer for her mom's company. Touya is a hardworking "Dentists without Borders" volunteer and Nakuru is a struggling actress. Pairings: S&S/E&T/Touya&Nakuru and Takashi&Chiharu sub-plots here also.
4) The (Not So) Virtuous Miss Nakuru Akizuki - (Comedy and my first Mature content fanfic) - How do you solve a problem like Nakuru? What's a new novice priestess in the Tsukimine Shrine to do when she's being hotly pursued by two heavenly bishies--Touya and Yue? Dedicated to Miss Siela, one of my most consistent reviewers.
5) My Favorite Stories with a CCS/TRC/Furuba Twist - (Comedy and Romance) A "rewrite" of nine of my favorite romantic comedies where I substitute the CCS/TRC/Furuba characters for the Leads.
My favorite animes are: Card Captor Sakura, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, Hana Yori Dango (live version and anime), Fruits Basket, Saiunkoku Monogatari, Hunter X Hunter, Detective Conan, Lupin (all the versions), Samurai X, Sailor Moon (the earlier versions), Voltes V, Voltron (the lion team), Candy Candy and the anime versions of Sound of Music, The Little Prince, Princess Sarah, Romeo, etc.etc.
My non-anime favorites are: Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Sense and Sensibility, Lord of the Rings, Silmarillion, The Hobbit, Harry Potter, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Nanny Diaries, and stories by Julia Quinn.
Preferred pairings: HYD: Tsukushi and Tsukasa; CCS and TRC: Sakura and Syaoran, Tomoyo and Eriol, Touya and Nakuru, and Takashi and Chiharu; FB: Tohru and Kyou; SM: Shuurei and Ryuuki
