Hi. My screen name is Isamu Michi, but you can just call me Isamu. I’m 18 years old, female, American, and start college this year (’08). My interests are anime/manga, yaoi (XD), and history. I love history about Asian cultures, more so Japan because it’s more associated with anime (even though my heritage is 100 South Korean). My current anime/manga obsession is Death Note. I prefer LxLight or LightxL and didn’t even notice the character Matt until I saw all this MattxMello fan fiction popping up. XP Sorry Matt fans. I’m…decent at writing, but I’m not all that great. Most fan fiction that I’ve ever wrote becomes abandoned because I‘m stuck with the plot in the middle of the fic. Because of this, I stopped writing, not wanting to disappoint or anger readers by not completing a story. However, this worsens my skills as a writer, and now I don’t write because I think I’m not good enough. So, I’m turning a new leaf in my life. I think writing oneshots will help me, because multi-chapter fics I tend to abandoned. I hope you will like my stories. Please review. I cannot stress this enough. I know that I usually don’t review fics much either (>_>), but even a simple, “Hi. Can’t wait until the next update!” is good enough. It shows that someone cares. Sometimes I, when reading another fan fiction, and seeing over 100 reviews, I feel that, hey, this person has enough support, and my one line reviews aren’t that interesting. But, even so, please review anyways. It boosts up my confidence, so that maybe, just maybe, I’ll try a multichaptered fanfic one day, having my reviewers help me along with their support. Now that I’m done saying that, I apologize to all of those fan fiction authors who got my reviews and thought “Wtf!?” when they read it. Sorry I don’t tell you how much I like/hate your story, but I do love your story very much, or else I wouldn’t be sending a message. Of course, if you get over 50 reviews each chapter, I might not send you one, but I’m trying to change that. Some authors feel that they have to send back messages to their reviewers. Don’t do that for me. I didn’t put much effort into writing a review to you, so don’t waste your time with me. I’d rather if you continued with your fan fiction. Sorry if I sound rude, hypocritical, and/or preachy. Meh, I should stop now before it gets any worse. Anyways, I hate doing these profile thingys (but I love reading them), and you’ll probably see a fanfic by me up soon(like in a few months or so >_>;). And, be warned, I update sporadically, seeing as I have ABSOLUTELY NO TIME WHATSOEVER! And of course, when I do, I can’t think of what to write (or I’m just too tired). Ciao! ~Isamu | |||||||||
