Chapter Fourteen by Madeleine Shepard is now up, so those of you who loved the first eleven chapters should go and check it out. If you havn't read the other eleven chapters, go and read them now. They are great :D Sadly, we've lost another member temporarily. Hunchbook is having a super hectic RL, so she's decided not to take part for a while. Hopefully on our next story, if there is one, we'll regain her and Sera.

Greetings, fanfiction addicts (come on, you know you are... and so are we!)

We are Group Askew, a conglomerate of aspiring authors who have joined together to create a very special story. Well, at least we intend it to be very special... it could just turn out to be ridiculous, but we hope that's not going to happen! Group Askew was founded when one of us sent a message to another one of us saying 'wouldn't it be cool if we could write a sort of 'chain story', in which each of the chapters was written by a different author, with no previous discussion as to plot or characters.' Needless to say, the other one of us thought that it sounded like a great idea, so our two founding members proceeded to contacts all their favourite writers of fanfiction, in a bid to recruit members to our cause. They got a very pleasing response.

Our first story, 'Eldorne's Atonement', has just begun, and all of us will be taking it in turns to write the chapters. Given the nature of the work and the amount of people involved, it could be slow going, and updates may take a while, but bear with us... we really hope it will be worth it.

And who knows. If it all goes well, there may be more 'chain fiction' in the pipeline!
