Author has written 24 stories for CSI, Doctor Who, and Twilight. Hello all, My name is Connie. I'm a 34 year old mom of three, Deanna, who is 17, Paige 10, and Josh 9. I have graduated with my AA in English and am in my second semester of University. I'm a tutor at the local college and enjoy it greatly. I tutor English, math, speech...let's just say I can multi-task. I really love writing the stories that I do and was thrilled with the feedback I recieved on my first story "Grissom's Delemma". It started out as a novel and then I decided to finally give it a shot on the world wide web. Hope you enjoy all my stories just as much. I have just ventured into the world of Doctor Who and find I really like the poetic license you can take when creating the situations these charicters can get into. Can't wait to find out what this little mind of mine will come up with. UPDATE: I have just completed my first semester at University and survived fairly unscathed, though I did fail one class. I know, I know...but it was grant and proposal writing...hello, that just is not me. I have expanded my world of writing to include Doctor Who, ten is my man (hot). I am currently putting together a special project for one of the other writers here, it is turning into a labour of love and i fear it may take a while to complete. For every one chapter I complete, it is actually two whole chapters long, but it is a fun ride. UPDATE: I was recently abducted into the world of Twilight. It began with my daughter recieving the first book for her birthday from a friend. I pride myself in being in tune with my child and decided to read it (yeah, we'll go with that lol). It took me six hours to read the first book and when I was done I got into my car and purchased the other four. I managed to finish them all of in four days (I like to read). As soon as the movie came out on DVD I got it for my daughter (yeah, for her). I like the way the story plays out, though it did lack a certian degree of, lets just say, adult content. I know, I know, it was written for teens, but still...that is where Fanfiction comes into play. Man I love this cite. Enough about all that, I managed to reserect my GPA from the bowels of my education and actually recieved a letter of congradulations from the university for doing it so quickly, I have to admit, I buted my ass last semester to do it. Only 36 credits left to go. Whoo Hooo!! I love any kind of challenge you could throw my way and would love to get one. Give me something you would like to see written and I will do my best to make it a reality. Connie Wow, so I have really been out of the picture for a while. Life getting in the way really does not explain what has been going on for me. I recently had my gallbladder removed and then there was a problem with my son that no parent should have to deal with. I've been doing so much that I have let my work on this site slack. That is now going to stop and I am going to begin working on my stories once again. Thank all of you for being so patient with me. Pet peves 1. People who don't know the difference between to and too. I think I would like to see some of the people who mix these see some time with a dictionary too. 2. People who tend to mix up there and their. There are many people who don't seem to understand that their story has this error. 3. Mixing up the words lose and loose. You might lose some readers if you are too loose on your word usage. You know lose as in lose someone...lose your mind...lose your keys. Maybe your morals are a bit loose...you know like a loose screw...or the dog is loose. 4. People who can't seem to know the difference between your and you're. You're is the combination of the words you and are whereas your is demonstrating possessiveness. You're crazy if you think no one will notice this or your story may suffer. | |||||||||
