A little about me:

Age: 27, male

Occupation: Ph.D. student, Educational Psychology, focus in psychometrics.

Location: Texas

Interests: Kim Possible (natch), Penguins of Madagascar, Stargate, MacGyver, and too many other things to list.

Background: I've been watching Kim Possible since it was on the air and then found fanfiction while finishing my bachelors degree. I've read many many stories on this site and its been a welcome distraction from my graduate studies. My previous studies focused on information systems and technology and the integration of technology in education. Some of my stories may reflect this, or not. I have found that writing for fiction is much different than writing for research, but the basic principles of writing apply to both. Some good writing resources my professors have guided me to are:

Strunk, W. & White, E. B. (2000). The Elements of Style (4th ed.). NY: Longman.

Boice, R. (2000). Advice for New Faculty Members: Nihil Nimus. Boston: Allyn & Bacon. pp. 103-144.

I think anyone who has found some difficulty in writing take a look at these. If you find yourself with writer's block, then these books are for you.
