Not much to say about me.

First off, I'm very political. Fortunately, I manage to keep real world politics out of my writing.

Outside politics, I'm a single, pasty white nearly 23 year old freshly graduated with a BFA in Digital Filmmaking and Video Production, who enjoys good beer, sweet wine, and watching movies in mostly empty theaters.

I'm sorry, but I have to get this off my chest. DON'T CLAP AT THE END OF THE MOVIE!! Seriously, who are you clapping for? The people on the screen can't hear you! And the projectionist certainly doesn't need your condescending praise.

Where was I? Oh yes.

At 6 foot 4 and quite slim, it's hard for me to buy pants. Is it so inconceivable that a person can be taller than they are wide? And people hate it when I drive their cars, and I hate when people borrow mine, as seat positions are always changed. It takes me weeks to get my seat back where it was. Advice: don't sit behind the driver's seat when I'm driving if you value your legroom.

I'm into Legend of Zelda, Resident Evil 4, Unreal Tournament, Call of Duty (as developed by Infinity Ward), Super Smash Bros., Harry Potter (the books), Gundam Wing, Ghost in the Shell, and if Samus Aran were real, she'd be my girlfriend. She'd kick my ass in paintball, but I could live with that.

When the TV is on, I'm either playing Wii or XBox, or I'm watching Top Gear, Arrested Development, Doctor Who (David Tennant!), House MD, Mythbusters, The Closer, Burn Notice (awesomeness!), Law and Order (original, SVU, and CI), White Collar, Monk, Psych, Frasier, or Everybody Loves Raymond. I think that's about it... Oh yeah! Redskins Football!

I like music. The Wallflowers, Uncle Kracker, Rehab, 30 Seconds to Mars, Barenaked Ladies, Carbon Leaf, Counting Crows, Evanescence (I love her voice), My Chemical Romance, and John Mayer. I also like to listen to the music files from Unreal Tournament 2004 (they're in the Music folder in the UT2004 installation; they're OGG files, playable in WinAmp, and very pleasant to listen to). Panic! At The Disco, Fall Out Boy, and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus aren't not bad. Not great, but not bad. Seether and Linkin Park got some good head banging sounds, and on the opposite side They Might Be Giants is playfully quirky.

Odds are I'll only post one story, Spirit of Fear. It's been two years in the making, and I'm finally writing it down. I know it seems odd to only have one project, as many users in this community have several, but Spirit of Fear is very ambitious, so it makes up for it. Bouncing around the void of my mind, however, are ideas for Metroid and Legend of Zelda fanfics, as well as a Slayers (remember that show?) fic that's still in its infancy.

I don't have a lot of time to myself, and when I do I'm either working on Spirit of Fear, updating the blog or looking for a job, so chances are I won't read many stories while I'm here. I'm mostly just using this website as a venue (not to mention poor man's copyright) for my story.

I'd like to thank you readers in advance for being patient with my style of writing. I realize I'm a tough read, but I'd like to give the average reader more credit than I instinctively would, and I hope many of you will be able to see past my writing style and enjoy the story for it's content.
