Hello, Princeps de Invidia (Prince of Envy) at your service. I chose that as my pen name because my most prominent deadly sin is Envy. I started writing fanfiction in 2001, joined Fanfiction.net under a previous pen name in 2003, went on hiatus in 2005, and returned in 2007. My previous pen name and fanfics are still on this site, but seeing how my writing style has changed over the years, I decided to start over. So here I am again.

And for the record, I am female. I've been nicknamed a "prince" in real life because I apparently "give off this air of quiet princely charm" when I talk to people, as a friend of mine would say. This is most likely attritubed to the fact that I am generally a laid-back, non-emotional person.

Update Note:
Of all my online pet peeves, it would be accurate to state that the one I despise the most is receiving a review that contains nothing but an absolutely tactless order that I update. This has not happened as often with this account as my previous one, but apparently I still have not made myself entirely clear on this matter. Do not, do not, do NOT waltz in, skim over one of my fanfics, click the Review button, hastily type up a derisory message along the lines of "Y havent u updated?? stop being lazy an get the nxt chptr up NOW!!", and submit it.

...I assure you that that will do absolutely NOTHING for my motivation to continue writing. Prepare yourself for this shocking revelation, but I'll have you know that I have a life outside the confines of Internet posting. College studies, work, extracurricular activities...the productivity I live day by day is bordering on massive overload. It is a miracle in itself that I have managed to churn out as many fanfics and chapters as I did.

If I am MIA from recent fanfiction activity, be aware that I will post up my status on my profile. And, in the event that I am absent for months at a time, if you wish to learn further why you have been practically stalking my user profile waiting for an update, feel free to send me a PM inquiring as to whether I am dead or alive. Just do not demand that I spit out a half-assed version of the next chapter ASAP. Allow me to remind you that these are my stories, my TIME spent, and I will update when I feel like updating.

And if that costs me readers, so be it. I am not here to collect an extensive fan base or to harvest reviews; I am here to write at my own leisure and to share my writing with those who are willing to read and understand that fanfiction is merely a hobby of mine, nothing more.

That said, please refrain from any more complaints on my lack of activity on this website (those of you who are the guilty parties), and refer to my status when applicable to see what is keeping me from writing.
