5/24/12: First year of college complete! I recently rewatched CCS so I feel like writing again And I'm taking a summer course on the short narrative so maybe I'll be inspired to whip up some one-shots! We'll just have to seee.

5/18/11: I'm about to graduate, world! You know what that means? I CAN WRITE AGAIN. I'll start with finishing up Let Me Hear Your Voice, which I ignored for the whole year.

7/12/10: New fic! I rewrote an original, partially-done, boy-love fic I had been writing for a while now into a CCS fanfiction. I actually briefly considered changing the pairing to EriolxSyaoran. That's right; in the two years I've been gone, I had crossed into the dark side. :Dv

6/23/10: Argh, you know what? Forget-Me-Not is on an indefinite hiatus. I feel like crying whenever I reread that fic because It. Is. So. Bad. The plot, the writing, the characterization, the transitions -- all awful, and don't try to convince me otherwise. Ain't gonna work. I don't know what the heck other people see when they read it.

I really think perfectionists and young writers should click on that link above. I've done enough beta reading work to know that this is a problem in almost everyone's writing, no matter how awesome you are. It's such a problem that I sat myself down and wrote a guide for it. Give it a look-see?

I'm, umm, not very likable. I am very friendly, can't bear to be mean to anyone, and hate it when people are mean to others, but I'm afraid that everything I say is almost guaranteed to come out the wrong way. If it sounds offensive and it was from me, there's a high chance that I wanted to be nice but I screwed up my wording.

Maiden Voyage

Summary: AU. The renowned Captain Li Syaoran and his faithful crew have set off on another one of their famous voyages, on a search for new, foreign treasures. It's all smooth sailing: no storms, plenty of winds. But wait, what’s this? “Captain, we’ve found a stowaway!”

And that stowaway, of course, is Sakura. And the poor dear's lost her memory. She's not exactly a stowaway, but I haven't figured out how to get her on Syaoran's ship.

Conversion

Summary: AU-ish. Kinomoto Sakura: sweet, silent, shy. And magic. Li Syaoran: popular, laid-back, secretive. Also magic. He doesn't know she exists. Like she cares. Besides the magic, they're two people living in two completely different worlds. What can possibly happen when a situation occurs that brings these two closer together, unbeknownst to one and to the utter dismay of the other?

This is still in the embryonic stage. I need a few more months of brainstorming before I actually start to write anything. Still too blah. I'm not even sure if I'm going to start this at all. It was just an idea that struck when I was visited by a certain friend of mine, who shall remain nameless if I don't want to give out the details...

Perspective

Summary: Canon. Kind of. When I knocked on Sakura-chan's front door and realized it was open, I brushed it off. When I experienced the unusual silence in the Kinomoto's living room, I ignored it. And when I heard the groan and giggle coming from the kitchen, I thought Sakura-chan and Li-kun were simply having fun. But when I heard my best friend tell Li-kun to remove his shirt, that was when realization hit me hard. Then I whipped out my camcorder and pushed the small red button labeled record... A three-shot.

Just an idea that popped into my mind during English class. I'll be working on this -- slowly -- between my Forget-Me-Not chapters. My first try at a humorous-ish fic.
