Thanks to Naelany for the rec! I am incredibly humbled and thrilled that someone had linked Naelany to my story. And even more thrilled that she liked it enough to pimp it! So I decided to write Twilight, well, because a group of people I knew decided to put out some short challenges. Then I took a step further and entered in a one-shot contest. Then due to my Harry Potter obsession, I wondered if there were any stories in slash and at the time, I had read as many as there were published... sooooo... I tried my hand a slash that was a multi-chapter fic... and dark. All the things that were not my in my comfort zone. And that's how After the Storm came about. I was extremely lucky to have three outstanding women who stood by my side the whole time and urged me on. Rhenea, vampireisthenewblack and kblacknightingale literally wrenched the story out of the crap I wrote. VanpireNZ pushed me into writing it, keeping it up and generally held my hand as reviews came in. Now when that was completed... As if the world of slash had not already been a challenge, I decided to go a little bit further and go totally out of my comfort zone. The world of Femslash. Hale No, Hale Yes is my first foray into the world of femmeslash writing. It's Alice/Rosalie with a little slash thrown in for good measure Edward/Jasper. I wanted to like Alice again so hence why I wrote this. For me (and others) to like her and her weird little brain.
