A Healer's Mission (4/? WIP) -On HIATUS- (2009 UPDATE: Will probably be reduced to a 2-shot)

The ever-popular final confrontation between our favorite uber-powered ninja. Except that it's from Sakura's point of view, and she missed most of the battle. In fact, it's practically over... Oops. So much for an action story. Angst, and probably quite a bit of Naruto-worship.

WARNINGS: Contains Shippuden spoilers. Violence, blood, possible character death/near death, possibly some strong language...that's about it.

Strawberries Don't Have Thorns (Oneshot)

Naruto returns from a mission alone, and tries to explain to Tsunade what happened. Naruto first-person, short, choppy, weird... written because I wanted to try something creepy. Oneshot.

A Hero of the Leaf (4/4)

Naruto begins behaving oddly, but before anyone can figure out why, he leaves on a mission--one that goes horribly wrong. Was it a dream, after all? Focuses on Hinata, Sakura, Tsunade and Jiraiya.

The plot has been done to death (especially the whole rain metaphor) by other authors, but I was having a bad week. Writing angst is my idea of therapy, so...this is the result. Since AHM isn't getting anywhere, the least I could do was polish this up a bit and post it.

WARNINGS: Minor Shippuden spoilers, OOCness, angst, character death, NaruHina fluff, over-used plot, mysterious events that are never fully resolved...

Over (oneshot)

He was dead. It was over. And they might never return...

Who is the 'I' character in this one? Who just died? You'll have to decide for yourself. I implied identities, but never concretely named one or the other. It could technically be any of the three boys from Team Seven (Sai, Sasuke, or Naruto).

This has been sitting in my notebook for a while. I slapped together a typed version, and posted it right away...so if it stinks, I'm sorry. It was written as a counterpoint to HotL. I was getting sick of the nauseatingly sappy (unrealistic) funeral stuff.

WARNINGS: Surprisingly, no Shippuden spoilers per se. There is some gore and bloody descriptions; one instance of swearing in japanese. Oh yeah, and there's angst, unhappiness, vagueness, ambiguous characters that are probably OOC, and excessive use of the words 'over' and 'sob'. Sheesh...

The Last Exchange

Ed talks to his brother as he begins the preparations for his greatest alchemical achievement, and makes one last confession...

My first Fullmetal Alchemist fic. Once again, a oneshot--written in first-person (Ed's POV). I wrote this thing ages ago, but it's undergone extensive rewriting. I changed the person and pared it down to as few words as possible. I was aiming for 500, but ended up with more like 600. It's an introspective retelling of the final episode of the anime. And yeah, this one's angsty, too. What can I say? It's easier to be depressing.

WARNINGS: If you haven't seen the anime, this will completely spoil the ending for you.

A poem on Naruto's attitude toward Team Seven. Short, simple free verse.

The Call

Gaara's point of view at the end of the Rescue Gaara arc. And yeah, it's a poem...sorta. From the same brainstorm as 'We Three', though this one came out somewhat better.

A note on my C2 Community:

I'm expanding this from Naruto to all fandoms, even outside of anime. These are my favorite stories--funny, well-written and full of adventure. Most are pretty angst-ridden, but a few (like the Spider-Girl story Dissonance) are just pure fun.
