I'm a huge bookworm! Actually, I've spent most of my summer so far locked in my room reading or writing (kind of pathetic, i know). I'm writing my own book series, but I joined this website so I can write for fun wtihout stress! (so far, at least). Feel free to critique my stories! I love to hear what people think of my writing.

And now, a little story about a little discovery of mine...

I first heard of Twilight in the middle of my freshman year. My friends were reading it and I asked them what it was about. When they said 'vampires', I actually thought it sounded lame (but, considering that Harry Potter has vampires, werewolves, and more... it was really dumb for me to think that.) Talk about judging a book by its cover... So, anyway, I went on throughout the school year with this frame of mind... When school let out, I went to work with my aunt who works in a library. She gave me a stack of books that I "really had to read" and two of them were 'Twilight' and 'New Moon'. I remembered my assumption about these books and began to read them begrudgingly. After the third page of 'Twilight', however, I was hooked. I read the whole thing straight through from noon on the day they were given to me, until 2:30 in the morning; I couldn't put it down! Same went for 'New Moon'. Now, I can't wait for 'Eclipse' to come out!! Stephenie Meyer is a genius!
