Hi, I'm the one currently known as SqutternutBosh (subtle reference there, if anybody can pick up on it).
I've been writing the odd little pieces of fanfiction since before I knew that I wasn't the only one who wrote about their favourite characters when the book, TV show or film were over. I was probably about 8 then (I'm 16 now) and the miniature fanfic in question was the opening of the next Harry Potter book when I'd finished reading Goblet of Fire.
I've always loved reading and writing and I enjoy writing my own works as well as experimenting with characters from my favourite series.
I now have six fics up in the Friends section- it's my favourite TV program (I only really started watching it summer 2006 when I randomly watched a rerun one evening... I was too young to get the jokes and stuff when it was all new) and the six world-renowned characters are great fun to write. I tend to write one-shots (supposed to be humour, but it's up to the reader whether they find it funny or not). I prefer to stick to things that could actually have happned in the TV show, rather than doing anything too dramatic. I'm a sucker for a good romance fic (particularly Mondler), but it's not really the genre I'm suited to writing.
And now I have two HP one-shots up too! Yes, I'm a long-time HP fan. I hadn't been reading much fanfic in the run up to DH, but have read a few post-war fics since. Some of them are really great and I look forward to reading more.
TOW the Monologues: I do intend to come back to this project, but I'm pretty busy at the moment with important exams. I guess I picked a bad time to start such a long project, but hopefully, one day, I will return to it.
