About me:
I am currently a student at the University of California, Berkeley, and am working towards my Bachelor's degree in English, with a minor in Education. I've been reading and writing fanfiction since I was in eighth grade. I originally started writing in the Cardcaptor Sakura fandom, but have since then moved on to others. At the moment, I am writing for the NCIS fandom.

I am...a spastic, happy-go-lucky, idealistic, off-the-wall, and utterly strange person. In essence, I am a dreamer. I collect just about everything fairy--prints, figurines, calendars--and my favorite fantasy artist is Nene Thomas. At the moment, my favorite contemporary artist is Squeak Carnwath, while my favorite classical artist has been, and always will be, Leonardo Da Vinci.

Besides writing, I enjoy drawing and painting in my spare time, as well as music. I was in choir for eight years, six of which I spent as a first soprano, and though I'm out of practice, I still enjoy singing immensely. I also enjoy reading and cooking.

What I read and write:
I like to write romance. At the same time, I like to push myself, and so I'll throw in things that would fit in the Hurt/Comfort, Drama, and Angst genres as well. I haven't written a true romantic piece, however, since I finished An Album of Memories, which I'd written for the Rurouni Kenshin fandom back between 2006 and 2007. Since then, I've focused more on drama, h/c, and angst, and the occasional light piece of frienship fluff.

Characters I like to focus on:
In the NCIS fandom, I hold a special place in my heart for Timothy McGee, and enjoy writing him, because there is simply so much there. He's by far my favorite character, and so, I focus on him. In that token, I enjoy trying to explore the brotherly relationship between him and Tony, and the father/son relationship between him and Gibbs--the latter especially, because we don't get to see as much of it on the show.

In the RuroKen fandom, it's always been Kaoru for me. She's a great character, and one of few female anime characters that can fight, and is realistic while doing it. She's down-to-earth and sweet, and I just love her to pieces, 'nuff said.

In Cardcaptor Sakura, Sakura takes the cake, hands down, as my favorite. She's just so darn cute! And so purehearted--the girl doesn't have a bad bone in her body. Love her, love her, love her.
