On this seemingly ordinary day in a seemingly ordinary town, I celebrate a very special day. Five years of posting here on fanfic. It was five years ago today that I hesitantly posted Graduation Day, and thus began a journey that would lead me down the path I had always wanted to walk. It just took a push from two Winchesters and a remarkable fandom.

I can't believe how quickly the time has gone. I have certainly had my ups and downs and you have all been patient and kind, and whether you know it or not, your support has seen me through the roughest years of my life. I still marvel at moments when fic brought me comfort in an ER, or alone in the dark of night, or as I battled my way through this new challenge I am face with. I still remember a very startling moment when, in pain, frightened in an Emergency Room, talking to my nurse and discovering she was not only a fan of Supernatural but was reading one of my stories at the time! It gave me a sense of family and security that I cannot even begin to describe.

I can't thank you enough for letting me share my writing with you. I know I am slow with replies to reviews, but that does not ever mean I do not cherish each word. I am honored that you let me share my words with you, and so thankful that you enjoy my stories, odd though some may be. There are more stories, some that need finishing, some that still need telling. I am anxious to share them all! Thank you all for sticking with me, for waiting patiently, for everything over these past five years.

I would have the most epic barbeque ever and have you all over if I could, or make you all cookies and pie with coffee and chai. Huge hugs to you all, you know the hug I mean, the hug from season six—you all know... You are all my family, my huge amazing wonderful warm family. Thank you all for an amazing five years.

I promise to keep writing. I have a few plot bunnies that have been lurking in the dark corner of my room and they are rustling around and making noises, so I suspect they want to find their way out and onto the page.

I would like to offer a special and huge huge hug to Merisha, Abni, Infinite Shadow and TraSan. Four amazing women who have put up with me through every word I've written, encouraged me and smacked me around when needed. About me: I currently live and work in the Pacific Northwest. I have been a writer off and on for most of my adult life. I am currently writing reviews for Daemon's TV and Books. One of the shows I'm reviewing is Being Human. If you haven't had a chance to see it, well, watch it. It's pretty darn awesome.

I am a Master Herbalist with a specialty in European herbalism and Dark Ages medicine. Along with that study comes a vast knowledge of herbal charms, magic and all the other things that used to be a part of medicine. The Hunt: More than a thousand years ago, the Hunt was founded to ride the Between World. Long believed a punishment for Custodes Noctis who have denied their destiny, the riders and horses of the Hunt became the stuff of legend and nightmare. Ten years ago, Galen Emrys denied his destiny in a desperate attempt to save his family-and the world. With his brother Rob's return they could face that fate together, but the past does not forget. The call of the Hunt is back, sounding clearly for Galen, and even as he fights the call, he and Rob discover that joining the Hunt-and possibly losing themselves to the darkness forever-might be the only hope they have to stop something far, far worse from rising and devouring the world.

If you have any comments, questions or even screams of anguish, please feel free to contact me. I really do listen and the comments and reviews that have come my way have all improved my writing. I enjoy challenges and have several stories on the burner, requests, that are stewing away madly, waiting to be done. I guess if I categorize myself I primarily write hurtDean. Although I think I am rapidly becoming a (perhaps new) genre, hurt Winchester. Poor boys! Although I try my hand at pretty much everything (except for death fic or Wincest). I want to tell whatever story I'm writing to the best of my ability. And if you have anything you would like to see, I am always willing to try something. A couple of requests have led to great stories, so I'm always willing to try something new!

In case you are reading my stuff for the first time, please know that I do not write Death Fic(even if things look very grim, I promise, promise they won't die! Or if it looks like they have, they will be back in body and not just spirit, I promise!) or Wincest.

I am trying to catch up on reading and reviewing everyone! I know I am behind, please be patient with me! Lately, I have had to choose between writing and reading, and those darn plot bunnies are armed and dangerous.

Over the years I have been nominated for, and won, a few awards including several for best story. I am honored to be recognized by my peers! Thank you so much, these mean so much to me.
