Author has written 3 stories for Gemma Doyle Trilogy. Hey. My name's Nichole Cooper! I have two stories on fanfic so far for A Great and Terrible Beauty. One is called Forsaken. Its about how Gemma feels like everyone is betraying her (and they are) and that there's no one left who she can trust. Its the story of how it happened, why, what if and how it can be fixed. Its better than it sounds right now, I was never all that great at summaries...so thats why you should read it and find out for yourself! Leave reviews please! And the other one is Figments. Its a parody with Gemma, Simon, Kartik, me and some of my friends...its really funny, so check it out! Now I've uploaded the sequel to Figments, She Needed Mental Help...need I say more? My name's lilaya on fanfiction because when i was small i loved the word and flower lily. so i made up lilaya, lilyflower, lily, lilyflo. I can't actually write that well (english language is not my subject) but I just love to read these stories. SOME of my favourite books-Artemis Fowl, Harry Potter, Shadow Children, The Inheritance Series, Books of Tortall, A Great and Terrible Beauty, Wolf Rider, Anne of Green Gables, Breathing Underwater, The Time Quintet, The Face on the Milk Carton, Alex Rider, The Looking Glass Wars, Alice in Wonderland and if I name all you'd be reading forever. Its another 700 or so... SOME of my favourite authors- J.K. Rowling, Eoin Colfer, Tamora Pierce, Cornelia Funke, Caroline B. Cooney, Margaret Peterson Haddix, Lemony Snicket, Scott Westerfeld, Jodi Picoult, Avi, E.L. Konigsburg, Sara Dessen, Sharon Creech, Madeleine L'engle, Stephenie Meyer, Anthony Horowitz, Ann Rinaldi- well you get the idea I love to read I actually have to tell myself to slow down sometimes because I read to quickly. But i love books and stories and borrowing and buying them. That's why I hardly have room for anything else! If you ever read this: to my friends, gem, snickers, chrissy, geo.- weird names, right? but I'm novel- gem gave it to me. and here's to snickers who lets me bounce ideas off of him for hours and hours and he doesn't tell me to shut up when I tell him that the characters were talking in my head... anyway- the point is that I can babble on to him about the story and he doesn't tell me to stop. pretty much 'that's a good idea' or 'what if you' and 'I have this idea; - so thanks snickers! If you want to send me an e-mail...send it to nanos_oxymoron@yahoo.com or check out my blog on shine at http://shine.yahoo.com/blog/aWeLkUECPXM9i8tPIsUSInOqQF82nCSRLuud6/ There's something I've realized about being a bookworm (there's no better way to put it) You start to like the books more that real life and you also start to take on the traits of the character and think like them. I was thinking about that last night, which is why I created this list: YOU KNOW YOU'VE BEEN READING A BIT TOO MUCH (and that's perfectly normal) WHEN: You become unusually clumsy- Twilight You seem to attract not only danger, but also dangerous mythical creatures. - Twilight When you get mad at someone, you consider whipping out your wand and yelling STUPEFY!! - Harry Potter You learn to put up iron walls around your mind to protect it from those painful mind readings - Eragon Instead of having happy daydreams, you now have horrible things that can only be described as 'daymares'- The Face on the Milk Carton Anyone with a high fever is automatically a werewolf, and anyone with cold hands is a vampire - Twilight You now think that your daydreams are visions - A Great and Terrible Beauty You think that little forgotten door in a church might just lead to another country - The Gatekeepers At times you think you're a super spy and that gum is a gadget that you can use to blow something up - Alex Rider You're afraid to read from a book out loud in case the bad guy jumps out and tries to take over the world - Inkheart You think that all butlers should have a license to kill and be armed to the fullest - Artemis Fowl Words like random, bubbly, face-missing and icy become a part of your everyday vocabulary - Uglies You close your eyes and try to open a door of light, just in case the magic decided to choose you - A Great and Terrible Beauty A shimmering patch in the air is not heat, it's a fairy and you simply have to capture it - Artemis Fowl You have a strange urge to ask any one named David if they know a secret that can change the world...or at least get rid of those nasty brain lesions - Uglies That guy that pulled your hair in primary school is destined to profess their undying love for you, become deathly ill and only feel better when you decide that you love them too - Anne of Green Gables You simply know that all caterpillars smoke hookahs...its just that no one believes you - Alice in Wonderland You decide that you will never ever drink unicorn blood, even if you're dying (not noticing that unicorns aren't real) - Harry Potter When someone pisses you off, you tell them to go eat a Fricai Andlat, that super poisonous mushroom - Eragon Dying at 17 doesn't seem so bad anymore...especially if you get to become a vampire - Twilight You now hug every tree, just in case its Kartik - A Great and Terrible Beauty Hope my page gave you a good laugh! | |||||||||||
