So this is my profile...

Name: Pops, Poppy, Dahling, Pop-Dahling

Age: 17

:A little bit about me:

I have a bubbly, Galinda personality, but am pretty serious when it comes to things I care about. I've been telling stories ever since I was little, but didn't start to write stories until I was in seventh grade. I'm in all AP classes (except math) and am pretty stressed about it already. I have control issues and like to be in charge of things. I am a leader; not a follower. I love to sing and hope to become an actress one day. If that fails, a vocals teacher would do. Music is my passion. I will always have some musical song in my head, and will most likely sing it. I am super stubborn, and tend to stick to my decisions, even if they are wrong. Arguing makes me happy; got anything you want to debate about? I'm your girl. I am passionate when it comes to human rights, and will fight for them until all is equal. I am a feminist, and no boy will ever change who I am. I am an opinionated person. I try to strive for perfection (I do know it's impossible). Theatre is my life. If I could, I would live there.

Now I'm just rambling on about myself!

:Fandoms:

I found fanfic.net when I was browsing for Twilight stuff. I got hooked, and then, soon, discovered Wicked and Rent were on here too.

I used to read a ton Twilight fics, but now hate the whole series. Stephenie butched it on the last book, and now I only read from a select few friends. I read for the Lols now.

Wicked. Oh what to say about this fandom? I love it. It introduced me to theatre (obsession wise; not knowledge wise), and has touched me in so many ways. It was my first obsession, and will probably always be a favorite. I love both the book and musical, but I have my preferences. This show/book have really helped me discover who I am. Elphaba is my idol fictional character. She is so flawed, strong, and passionate. She knows who she is, and face what life hands her with her chin up, eyes determined. I see so much of myself in her, and know how she feels when other's judged her based off looks and opinions. Where Elphaba touches my personality (partially, I'm a bit of a Galinda),Glinda touches my girly side. Popular is one my favorite scenes and I always get giddy and squeal when I have my hair in curls and dress up. This fandom has allowed me to discover myself and face my fears. Oh how I love thee Gregory Maguire, Stephen Schwartz, Winnie Holzman, and L. Frank Baum. I could talk about this fandom for years and never tire of it!

Rent is another show that has touched my heart. I was raised in a very conservative household. So I was not too open-minded when it came to people who swung the other way. I got into the show because of Idina Menzel, but when I saw the movie I was a changed person. It's amazing how one show can change a person! I learned to love, accept, and most importantly, live life the the fullest. I am always quoting this show, and cried when it closed on Broadway. Jonathan Larson is one who I respect and am so happy that his dream was fulfilled. I just wished he could be alive to see and be apart of such a wonderful show that has changed many. To shorten this up, Rent changed my viewpoint of how to think and behave about life. "No day but today!"

Next to Normal has to be one of my favorite shows. I fell in love with the show after seeing the scene from the Tonys and knew I had to buy the CD. It's a heart touching show that reminds me so much of my own life. Diana is the character I, scarily, relate to because I have had problems grieving too. Natalie is another because I try to be the perfect student and daughter as well. This show just blows my mind away. It touches home to real life issues that people today don't want to talk about. I can't even express how much I love this show! It's just pure amazing!

I also read Sweeney Todd, Spring Awakening, and Hairspray.

Music:

Wicked, Rent, Next to Normal, 9 to 5, Glee, Hairspray, The Wild Party, Spring Awakening, Beauty and the Beast, West Side Story, Into The Woods, Aida, Taylor Swift, Nickelback, Sweeney Todd, and a whole lot more, but I don't want to bore you!

Hope you enjoyed my profile and go read my stories!
