Log: March 23, 2008
To those who are waiting on DREAM update, read my journal entry for March 23, 2008, on lj.
Profile:
So I just recently turned 19, which isn't as big a deal as most birthdays go, but it was still an occassion to eat cake for. I love academics. The classes I tend to like are the ones that make me study all weekend long and still have me ending up with a C-average on tests. ~coughs "Honors Calc II" endcough~ I don't know why, but something about that B on my report card endears me to the subject and makes me feel accomplished. That B, in my opinion,
is worth more than any A I received from my other classes I took last semester.
I like to write. Being a engineer major, I don't have any classes that could serve as a "soft science" to cushion my hard-pressed brain--except for Japanese maybe. Yes, I think I'll continue a minor in that. So anyways, I write because I don't have any other outlet for my creative capabilities.
I love reviews by the way. It's the only way I can tell whether or not I write well enough and a small quirk of my personality includes on always doing better the next time. So please, talk to me. Communicate with me. Converse in an intelligent manner with me and thou shalt be rewardedeth. ~_~
(No worries, I won't be writing anything in old English anytime soon.)
Works In Progress:
Drabbles are always a possibility, remote yes, but a definite possibility. Check my lj: http/roguesprite.livejournal.com and hit the "fanfiction" tab to see what I have.
The Search for A Deeper Blue: Multichapter sotry based on drabbles that started on my past fanfictiondotnet account (It's on my lj, and all three of them are quite good in my opinion). Be sure to check them out. The story might not be as lighthearted, but I shall keep on making drabbles for this universe so keep in touch with my lj.
Tales of a Modern Kotogakko: Short really cheesy episodes on the life of the Kenshingumi if they were to live in a modern highschool. Admittedly, the last episode was a little scatterbrained. It seems I've put two stories in one episode, and I really should have waited to just update again. Anyways, I plan to introduce Aoshi soon. Maybe as a student? Or a teacher? I will never know until you review!
D.R.E.A.M. Project: This is my major project at the moment. Unnervingly, the scientific side of me starts to take over at the site of such a dark and morbid plotline, sort of how Battousai takes over when he sees Saitoh. Its a story about a young but very accomplished doctor finding her way through a maze of intrigue, betrayal, and human experimentation--dragging along, of course, the experiment himself. That comes in the later chapters though. Don't be fooled by the title of the first chapter, that is not the end.
And that's it for now, ladies and gentlemen. Don't let the website hit you with a useless ad on the way out. ;)
