Hi, I'm Ana... Well, actually, it's Anastasha, but I detest it, refuse to be called it, rarely even acknowledge it as my name. My parent's couldn't just go with Anastasia. No, they have to spell it all awkwardly. It does make it rather easy to Google yourself, though... It's pronounced as the way it looks, for all those of you who were wondering.

Anyways, I'm fifteen-years-old and live somewhere in the continental United States. My exact location is in a deadbeat town in the middle of nowhere (aka: Hickville, USA.) There are cows within walking distance of my house. I go to school with kids that think it's fun to drive pickup trucks through the woods at night. With the headlights off. While they're drunk. A typical weekend includes a school sporting event and hanging out at a Sheetz. Seriously. I actually know how to shoot a gun and ride a quad. My friends and I are more likely to go dive head-first into a lake than to go to a spa for the day. Not that a day at the spa wouldn't be nice... It's just not something you do around here. But, for the record, we don't walk around going "HOWDY! Look down yonder, ya'll! I think I sees me one a them Duke Boys. Yeehaw!" Just...no... We may be rednecks, but we're dignified rednecks gosh darn it!

I love volleyball! It is pretty much the most amazing sport ever. I spent hours in my yard this summer to learn how to jump serve. It didn't work too well - I twisted my ankle and could have been out for the entire season...I wasn't thankfully, but the thought still scares me. I play defense or outside (libero or left-front, for those of you who actually play). My school's JV team was 13-3 this past season, and Varsity manged to go undefeated! I love my volleyball girlies!! They are some of the best friends/teammates I could ask for.

I read constantly. My favorites include the Twilight saga, A Great and Terrible Beauty (and all the other books in the series), Gossip Girl, Morganville vampires series, Go Ask Alice, Thirteen Reasons Why, a bunch of classics, and anything by Meg Cabot, Sarah Dessen, Shakespheare, Jane Austen, or Kate Brian. I'm a sap and really like those stupid teen romances where you end up crying half way through the book and can't stop smiling when the main characters kiss... It's rather pathetic actually.

Hmmm...what else? Movies and music! Two of the most important things in my life... I'll listen to just about anything you give me. My playlist has everything from Debussy to Journey, from Taylor Swift to Linkin Park. I'm a big indie rock person... As for movies, I like the "teen" movies like Never Back Down, Twilight, Superbad. But I also love indie flicks and 80s movies (Little Miss Sunshine or Pretty in Pink, anyone?). Action movies like Batman are good. Really, though, romantic movies are my weakness - some of my Top 10 are Titanic, The Notebook, and P.S. I Love You. Oh, horror movies are awesome, too. Especially the ones from my parents generation... They're all so pathetic that you end up laughing all through them.

So, if you guys made it through all of that, I suppose I should get to what I'm really here for... WRITING! I've loved to write ever since I was young. I have hundred upon hundreds of two-page-long stories from my munchkin days. I write a lot of original stuff, along with my FanFics. I even have a FictionPress account if you wanna check it out...just click here. There's not much there at the moment, but I'm working on a novel as well as a bunch of short stories.

So...about my writing. I have won a couple of contests for my work, and I really want to get published some day. I can't write anything short (see above), and I'm really bad about updating. Sad but true. I try to tie humor or sarcasm or irony into everything I right, even the sad stuff. In the year that I've been on FanFic, my writing style changed a bit. It can really be noticed in my story Always and Forever. When the story starts out, the writing is OK but could definitely be better. Then, especially in the last 3 or 4 chapters, it gets pretty good. I'm probably going to go back and rewrite all my stories when they're done...You know - just fix them up a bit, change some words around, etc.

MY STORIES:

7 Beautiful Vampires and a Clumsy Human: (Twilight; in-progress) This is basically a bunch of oneshots about the vampires, humans, and werewolves of Forks and La Push. They range from romantic to funny to really angsty. 7BV&CH is updated rather randomly, when ever inspiration strikes.

Always and Forever: (Twilight; in-progress) This story is my baby. It was the first thing I ever published for anyone to read. I was going insane waiting for Eclipse to come out back in 2007 so I started A&F. It's my version on Eclipse/Breaking Dawn.

It Was Meant to Be: (Twilight; in-progress) My "what happened to Jacob Black after Eclipse?" story. It takes place pre-Breaking Dawn. IWMTB doesn't have very much action, and I doubt it will. Actually, it was going to be a oneshot, but I couldn't bring myself to kill Jake... So it turned into an imprinting story. It's updated the least frequently, maybe once a month at most...

The 100-Year-Old Virgin: (Twilight; in progress) By far, my favorite! 100YOV is completely humorous. It's about Emmett and Jasper trying to make Edward more "sexually aware." They torture our favorite Cullen through things like speed-dating, sex talks, and "a big ol' box of fun." It's based on the movie The 40 Year Old Virgin. Slightly out of character.
