Hiya!

My name is Renske, I'm 22 years old and I live in the dutch city of Haarlem, close to Amsterdam. I share a house with my boyfriend Joost (a.k.a Business Consultant Man) and my middle-aged hamster Roy. I'm currently studying at the Willem de Kooning Academy of art & design in Rotterdam for my bachelor's degree to become an art & design teacher.

I love art (duh), reading & lotsa other stuff which I'll add later when I feel like it. I've never written a fanfic but I'll think I might give it a try soon. I certainly enjoy reading them.

My icon is a picture I took of my hamster Roy, who, after the tragic death of his long time hamsterbuddy Siegfried (Siegfried accidentally strangled himself during an escape attempt to which the great Houdini himself pales in comparison), has focused his energy on showbizz. We are currently working on a tight rope act, but as hamsters don't seem to have any sense of balance the rope has to be at least twice as broad as said hamster, which diminishes the wow-factor of the act considerably.
